ESD Anti-Static Rubber Mat with Wrist Strap and Ground Wire, High-Temperature Resistant, Electrostatic Discharge Protection, Yuanj Repair Hand Tools Set

I'm using this anti-static mat for work and it works great. I've never had any static issues with any of my boards because of this mat. I really like how the mat includes an anti-static bracelet to grounds to something. I work on a plastic desk that generates quite a bit of static. I ground the bracelet to a large server enclosure and haven't had any static problems despite the plastic desk.

Upon rolling out the mat, I was amazed of how it almost completely covered my work area. After hooking up the ground straps to a neutral ground on my oscilloscope, I immediately gave it the static electricity test by walking on my rug, shuffling my feet with only socks on, and before touching anything metallic on my bench, I rested my hand on the mat and then touched a metallic item and there was no discharge of static electricity. Same test but without touching the mat, and there was a considerable spark. It definitely works. In addition to the grounding strap, there is also an additional strap that you would attach to your wrist and connect that lead to the mat. You could then handle any sensitive component that could be damaged with the slightest amount of static, without concerning yourself with damaging the component.I build circuits and do a lot of soldering and this item also is user friendly to the occasional solder drip that may occur during my bad days soldering.There is nothing negative I could say about this product and for the price, it is well worth the money. I am completely satisfied.

This is my first time purchasing an anti-static mat or using one. The mat seems like it's good quality and size. It comes with a wrist strap which I would expect. It also comes with a grounding wire. I really don't know what to do with it though & it doesn't come with any instructions. Other mats I've seen have a wire that plugs into the grounding hole of a wall outlet, but this one just has a metal washer looking thing on the end. The instructions on the description don't make any sense and refer to something that isn't included in the package. Therefore, I can't give it more stars because I think it should come with instructions. I shouldn't have to search the internet to figure out what to do with it.

Really liked the quality of what I received. I have used Desco brand mats and cord/wrist straps for over 10 years at work. Would easily put this side by side with them. Cleans easy and is definitely made well. We never had the kind of warranty that this comes with. This is being used in my home workshop. Glad I found it!

Great mat, worked perfect for our small office. Lays nice and flat on the tabletop, and completely fulfills it purpose. Would definitely recommend.

This mat comes with a simple wrist strap, snap connectors to the mat, and a ground lead with a banana plug. Pressing an ohm meter onto the mat, there is no conductivity. The meter is good to about 40M ohm. Touching the leads with a finger shows conductivity, so the meter is OK.As observed before, this is a nice blue plastic mat that does not seem to have conductive or anti-static properties.

I liked this product cause it will allow me to make repairs on my personal IPhones it does the job good product.

This will not hold up to normal use. in just one month it has started to warp and is very easley burnt and melts with just a touch of a solder iron. Disappointing!I was going to return but I am one day late! Very short return window.
