The glass just shattered without any warning and almost cut my wife. This product is very dangerous as the glass shatters when too hot.

Has been working well so far! Cleans very nicely. The little burner only seems to have one setting.... Which is "on"... Since you can't control the the fire to be high or low. But it works for little pans.

I ordered this for power outage situations so I could still make coffee and cook a meal. This burner came with everything needed plus spare parts to help it last longer as it looks like it was manufactured for long term use. The unit is quite heavy and has a glass top which looks quite nice actually. Pros: Very quick to heat up, easy to start. Seems to regulate temperature quite well. Boiled a stock pot full of water in about 10 minutes in -5c degree weather. Assembly is simple, parts feel good quality and threads were not sloppy on the hose connector. Cleans up very easily if anything gets spilled on it. Cons: Doesn't come with an adapter for 1lb propane tanks, making this kind of useless for camping situations. If you already have a larger propane tank, you probably also have a barbecue. Just use that. Glass top makes it less portable. I have to be quite careful moving this as bumping it against something could shatter it. Not something you can just throw in a camp bag, would need a dedicated storage box. Overall, it's a great burner for the intended use. I may just leave it on the side of the barbecue as a powerful side burner but for sure it uses less propane than the actual barbecue for small things. Would also be good for a fish fry in a big oil pot but might need to get some wind blockers to keep the heat up. Recommended.

This burner came in clutch during our recent power outage, which was exactly what I wanted to use it for. On a regular day, we cook a lot of things on stove-top, but during an outage, it's nice to be able to still heat up food and boil some water. It was easy to setup and get started and comes with everything you need and more, including some spare parts. It was really the accessories included that impressed me, since I didn't have to worry about figuring out if I had a certain tool or item for it to work, especially in the dark. The unit itself is quite hefty, which is a good thing as it won't be accidentally knocked down or slide around, especially with the tempered glass top. You can also use this outdoors, which is great if you're enjoying an evening outside and want to cook some things out in the open on the deck or in the backyard. I cannot speak personally if this is a good camping item since I am not a camping person, but it seems compact enough that it could be portable in that situation. Overall, glad to have this as an emergency stove!

I was looking for a way to be able to cook outside my camper when making stuff that really gives off a strong odour like bacon or fish, or just simply when boiling vegetables to keep the condensation outside of my small camper. I decided to order this "TopFleme 1 Burner Propane Stove 13,600 BTU High-Efficiency Tempered Glass Auto-Ignition Gas Burner Stove Top with CSA Hose for Outdoor RV Camping Emergency Cooking" to give it a try. This is definitely some heft to this and it feels very sturdy. I really wasn't expecting it to be as big as it is but that actually works in my favor as the cast iron feels very sturdy and planted on it which helps with the safety factor. It is definitely better for for home use or in a car/rv as this would be big to try and bring with you. It does only use larger bottles but I have a 10Lb bottle for the camper already for my portable bbq so that is perfect. You can also get an even smaller 5lb bottle. I don't mind that this doesn't work with the green portables as I really don't like using those anyway, I'd prefer to have a refillable one as it costs less to operate and means less waste at the end of the day. The automatic lighter is very convenient (this is the first time I've seen that on a portable propane burner) and it works perfectly. The flame was steady and strong and the burner is good for a smaller pot as well. Other than it's large footprint I think this is the perfect burner. The inclusion of the wrench, propane hose, etc makes for excellent value in a complete kit. The one other thing that would have been nice would be a padded carry bag. I'm really happy to be able to cook outdoors when needed now and I can help contribute to that genuine camping smell by making my bacon and eggs in the morning on the picnic table for everyone in the campground to smell!

I am so happy with this order! This was intended for the cabin in addition to the wood stove, but it turns out that it will be even more useful than that. The item came well packaged and protected in a waterproof box (great touch). All pieces were included. The stove itself, of course, plus the hose with its regulator, a small wrench attached to the hose, plus an extra set of rubber feet and an extra control knob. There is nothing much to assemble. Just place the stand on the burner and attach the hose with the included wrench, and voilà, you're ready to go! My son decided to cook some fish'n chips last night and instead of using the kitchen stove, he decided to set up the burner outside on the BBQ's side shelf and deep fry the most delicious fish'n chips ever! It was not too cold outside, at -1°C, so this was perfect. The stove ignited without any problem and the temperature remained even. The flame's intensity was easy to control. He used to be a chef, and he says that it was comparable to any gaz stove that he had used in restaurants before. As a bonus, there was no lingering odour from the fish or deep frying in the kitchen! What more could you ask? So I believe that we will not always leave it at the cabin but we will carry it back and forth to use it at home too, and not only during power outages.

Got my hands on this to help with some canning and frying that I tend to do in the garage to avoid taking up space and smelling up the kitchen inside. This TopFleme burner does a great job getting things heated up. Assembly was very simple. The hose comes with the wrench attached to tighten it to the burner, the burner elements were packed on the bottom and just need to be placed on the top of the stove, and the unit comes with 4 additional feet and burner knob. This burner does only work off larger propane tanks for anyone thinking of bringing this camping with them, so it might not be the best choice if that is primarily what you are looking to do. However, for my purposes this does exactly what I need. While the glass top looks nice, I am a bit concerned with the durability over time for my scenario as I plan on leaving this stored in the garage. I believe I read in the instructions that you should pay attention to the weight being applied as it could damage the glass. Otherwise, it's good for stock pots and pans.
