日本語版を先に購入していたが、仕事柄電子部品のことに関する英作文をする機会が多いため独学用に購入した。大変参考になっているけれども、両方の版ともほぼ同じ構成・大きさなので並べて見るのはほぼ不可能だった。ただ写真も綺麗だし、電気英語の勉強用の教材にはおすすめ。

時間かけてこれを撮るだけですごい

普段身近にある部品の断面写真が豊富に掲載されていて、英語が読めなくても一通り楽しめました。また、日本語でしか知らない部品名の英語表記を知るのにも役立ちます。

What a great illustrated book! The authors have achieved something that has been due since the middle of the 20th century. It is recommended for interested laypeople as well as electronics or electrical engineers.

Great coffetable book for tech hardware nerds. I do wish it had more details about types of cables etc like varients in design or function. Pictures are fantastic though. Very detailed close ups. Great for folks that are less tech inclined.
