This was demonstrated to us recently as a 15 yo Frigidaire 1000W microwave blew its fuse. Got these slow blow fuses but was concerned they might not fix the problem. Turned out to be true. Easy to install but could not run the microwave other than as a clock and light over the range. As soon as you tried to heat something up, regardless of the power setting, the fuse blew immediately. Now we have a new microwave and a lot of extra fuses. If you are a good DIYer and can diagnose electrical problems on your own, then great. Otherwise, do not waste your time on new fuses.
