An SSD is an SSD, but software gives it an edge over alternatives
The Samsung Magician program has a great suite of tools to check partitions, clone your drive, diagnose issues, etc. Overall I’m quite happy with Samsung’s tour-de-force SSD, that’s probably going to be the last gen 4 release.

The Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD is a significant upgrade from my old HDD. The difference in speed is immediately noticeable. Booting up my system, loading games, and transferring large files all happen much faster than before, which has greatly improved my overall workflow and gaming experience. Installation was straightforward and headache-free. The instructions were clear, and it slid right into my motherboard’s M.2 slot without any issues.
