Dependability..great....price, worth every penny.
Fit perfectly on the back of my 2012 yamaha v star 950. I've had the bike out several times and the light on the trunk still works great, no issues.

For the price, it's a decent trunk and looks good
I love this trunk but it has its quirks. I drilled new holes to fit my rack and it anchored down really well. The instructions are minimal but it's fairly easy to install. Wiring up the light was annoying until I read the diagram inside the trunk lid. (Didnt notice it until late in the install) it allows a solid brake light or a flashing one. The flashing does not turn solid after a few seconds. It keeps flashing for as long as you hold the brakes down. There is no running light that gets brighter as you hit the brakes or an option to go from running light to flashing. It's either off or on. The trunk itself could use rubber lining around the edge of the inside to prevent rattling on bumps but is otherwise fairly weatherproof. I used some rubber lining I had from when I put it on my car door edges to protect them. It did pretty well. I haven't installed the chrome rack as I don't need the extra storage and I like how clean it is without it. The lock is good to prevent opportunity theft, but I wouldn't trust valuables in there overnight outside. It fits my full face helmet easily with more room for gloves and other items.

WAYYYY TOOOO SMALLLLLL
I should have gotten a bigger one because I cannot fit my motorcycle in this trunk no matter how try to put it in there. This thing must be made to store TOY motorcycles in.

Great bang for the buck
You've got to have realistic expectations or you'll be disappointed. For the money, this box is an exceptionally good bargain. The fit and finish is meh, but at $50ish bucks, you can't expect show quality. At 10' it's a stunner... up close, not so much, but you really can't complain at this price. That said, you'd better be able to think outside of the box when mounting it. It's universal fit, meaning it fits everything and nothing at the same time. You will almost definitely have to modify something to make it mount securely.

Buy It!
I like this trunk. It is roomy and seems to hold up well, but the lock seems fragile. It comes unlatched after riding down a bumpy road. I guess I could lock it to prevent that from happening, but I don’t usually lock it unless I'm on a road trip. We'll see how it holds up long term. I mounted an 18"x6" stainless steel plate to the luggage rack and then mounted the trunk to that (with additional fastening points) for better support. I also painted it to better blend with the bike colors. I haven't hooked up the brake light yet as I am in the middle of installing matching saddlebags and will wire all three lights in together. The hardest part was installing thr luggage rack since the holes didn't line up 100% and I had to drill more.
