It will harden. Don’t get discouraged!!! Just try your best to keep mouth dry!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:So I was having the worst tooth pain and it was Friday night. My dentist wouldn’t be open till Monday and I was stressing. I must’ve lost the filling on one of my molars and a nerve was exposed. So I bought this and tried it instantly. Gotta be honest. After I put some of this on my tooth I was unsure if it would actually harden. It took a lil longer that the package says it would so don’t get discouraged. But it hardened so hard that on Monday when I could go in the dentist had to drill it out so he could replace it. AMAZING!!!! Oooh also the best part is that it took my pain away and my dentist said that I should be an honorary dentist cuz he liked my work lol

Didn’t work on my chipped front tooth
This did not work for me! I have a front tooth that has a small piece that chipped off a couple of decades ago. I had cosmetic bonding done to repair the chip. However, it doesn’t last permanently. I’ve had to go back to the dentist a couple of times to have the composite bonding redone. This time a piece of the bonding came off and I was able to fit the small piece back into place, but I need something to hold it there until I get to the dentist to have it fixed. This stuff made it look worse than having a small chip in my tooth. It’s super white and made my teeth look like I had a piece of food stuck in them or just plain out right bad teeth.I believe this has its purpose. It will probably work best for a bigger piece of tooth or a crown that has come off of a back tooth. It seems like it could also be good to fill in a hole where a tooth has come out of the socket. However, this isn’t good for front teeth. At least not a small chip at the bottom of a front tooth. So, you are like me looking for something to glue together a chipped front tooth, this isn’t the product. I’m just trying to save someone the money on a similar tooth issue.

Fabulous product that stays in place and prevents pain!
This product is fabulous! I broke a front tooth on a Sunday morning and needed something to tide me over so I was not in pain until I could get in to see my dentist. It came the day I ordered it, and it worked great! There is a little bit of a learning curve on how to apply it, but it is worth it. You have to wait for it to dry, but it actually stayed in place for several days even through eating, drinking, and brushing my teeth! Very impressive! It also has a pleasant clove scent, and I had no pain at all during use. It came with 2 small jars of product and an applicator. I will put this in our first aid kit for emergencies!

it took me a few tries
The item isn't the easiest to work with and I can see why many have problems with it. But I'll mention a few things that might help with this item.First, this product hardens in water. It takes around 20 minutes for it to harden and not break apart and then a few hours to get to its final hardened stage. The more covered it is in water, the faster it sets. Within those 20 minutes, it can easily get wiped off by the tongue or teeth grinding or eating. So I recommend not eating and trying to keep the tongue away from the area for at least a few minutes.

Works great!
Free observations: The most important part is that you have wet fingers. This material becomes malleable and easy to work with when it's wet. Scoop out about the amount you would want and then wet it with your fingers. Once you've put it on your tooth you'll want to bite down let it squish around get to where it needs to get to. Don't worry too much about the excess at this point, but if any squishes out of the tooth then you can remove that. For the next 20 minutes I would suggest biting down on something absorbent like tissue or a paper towel. This will help dry it out a bit and let it start hardening into your tooth.Once it gets a little bit hard after about 20 minutes you can try to pick out some of the extra parts you don't like. If you do it too early or if you're too aggressive with it you might pull the whole filling out. Even if some gets stuck on your tooth in a place you don't like it you can always pick it out later. Remember this is a temporary filing.I suggest doing this at night after you've done all your eating for the day. That way you'll have more than then recommended 2 hours for it to set. I would continue to bite on the absorbent towel on and off for the next couple hours before bed. I'd also suggest if avoiding feeling the filling with your tongue, this both re-wets it and potentially moves the filling. I know that will be hard.By the next day you'll be good to eat or do anything else you need with it, but I do recommend not brushing it too vigorously. Also avoid touching it with your tongue it over and over again because it does wear down over time. It's not a permanent filling like the ones you get from the dentist, and my experience it tends to wear down in 5 to 7 days depending on how much you put in.Fortunately this comes with two containers that will have more than enough to keep your tooth filled for several months even with reapplications.I tried a more expensive solution here on Amazon that cost around $40 thinking that it must be better than this really cheap one, only to find that that filling fell out both times I tried to use it. I went ahead and returned that and got this and this has been way better definitely worth the extremely reasonable price.Definitely recommend.

Not my go-to!!! but it will work if you are patient.
10 out of 10 I would not recommend. It would not dry it would not stay and left little white balls that I had to keep spitting out of my mouth..... I came back after doing it correctly and it still didn't work that way but I was given tips and tricks from someone and it dried and stayed for at least four to five days no pain from my tooth and I did not worry about it I just wish you didn't take so long to dry and harder to the full potential that it has. I was so happy not it being painful I had to come back and give one more star and change my review.
