Ordered a size up and the wide fit option. The box said wide fit. These boots are NOT wide fitting at all. My feet aren't particularly wide but I had hoped to wear some thicker socks in my boots - my foot would have been crushed! Do not order if you want space on your boots. Returned after trying on.

Good delivery / good build but to short and narrow.

Good shoes, but they keep getting my order wrong. I ordered 4.5 twice and they sent me 5.5 both times - and one of them had a defective shoe lace.

These are not waterproof even long grass makes your feet wet!! Not fit for purpose wish I could still return but had too long!

No-one else seems to have had this problem so perhaps Columbia were having a bad run, but I ordered these twice and both times they sent the wrong size. I'm usually a 5 (Clarks 4.5E) so I sized up, as recommended, to a 5.5. I was sent a 6 both times - and it was enormous. You can't contact Columbia in the US so I couldn't even ask if their sizing was off.

These shoes are supportive, sturdy, and so comfortable I’m not sure I really need to break them in. They are relatively light for their size, too . So far they are no-kidding waterproof. I spilled water on my feet when watering the garden and didn’t even notice. The trade off is my feet sweat more than usual in them, though. I plan to carry extra socks and to change them more often when hiking all day, not a bad trade-off. Overall I am thrilled with this purchase. Highly recommended.

I bought these instead of snow boots for a snow trip, as I would only use snow boots once but have a decent hike later in the year and could do with new boots. So glad I did! They were totally waterproof in the snow without any extra waterproofing. Very comfy right it of the box. Size 10.5 fits like a 10.5 should, I don’t really agree it’s 41.5EU, as I’m usually 42 EU at least. If anything they are not very structured for a hiking boot, but I am happy with that as I prefer to use my feet and ankles to hen I hike rather than have a fully structured boots that you can’t feel the surface in. Also did not slip in the icy ground! Happy with my purchase.

I needed to replace my Ariat riding boots, but these are way more comfortable and waterproof!

I bought these in October of 2021. They did not require any time to break them in. I have used them in the snow and they kept my feet warm and dry. I use them every time I travel: deserts, rainforest, cold wastelands. They have been amazing each time. I also use them through all four seasons in WI. They have held up like new aside from the little bit of dirt on them. And they do not hold odors or cause my feet to smell like some other brands. Best hiking boots.

The teal color looks really nice. I’m size 5, regular/narrow feet and size 5 of the boots fits me comfortably. Hiked a 14er on these and they were awesome, helped me not slipping on those rocks. The high ankles helps my toes not hitting the tips of the shoes when going down like my other below-the-ankles hiking shoes.
