Great unit, lots of little audio project possibilities
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Looked at about 50 of these before settling in this one. Built it into my headboard and it is Bluetoothed to my HTPC. Great so far, Bluetooth connect is good at 15 feet through 2 wood cabinets, and the controls are great. Volume button also controls play-pause/next track/prev track/power on and off/etc. bezel is great, mounted mount looks great built into bed. Powers a couple speakers in the headboard and is good for movies when you don't want to be too loud but still hear it in bed. Solid choice for lots of audio projects.

Subwofer dead on arrival. Very disappointing.
Subwoofer was DOA. I wish I tested the amp before I made a wooden box enclosure for it. L and R channel work just fine. But I specifically ordered it because I needed a 2.1 with a powerful subwoofer! Believe you me, if I needed a 2.0 200 Watt amp I could source it for half the price of this one and locally in Canada to boot, or gotten a pre-built one for the same $. But I needed a separate 200 Watt subwoofer for our generative Ambient a Drone gigs. I know with 100% certainty that nothing is wrong with my wiring, 20 minutes before this I tested out a Fosi amplifier which I bought as a gift for my mom. I tested Fosi amp using the same wiring and speakers and it worked marvelously (giving it 5 stars BTW). In Fosi amp L R channels and Subwoofer - all 3 worked well. In this one - doesn't matter if I connect it via Bluetooth or via AUX 3.5mm connector - no matter how I adjust the frequency or volume(s) - the sub is 100% dead. Power isn't the issue here. - for reference - I'm using a 24v 4.4 Ah adaptor, so plenty of juice. I'm not a beginner, I work on DC electronics and computers for a living. And I'm pretty sure I tried everything including connecting a different, much lower frequency Subwoofer cone directly. Same result. Both of these subwoofers work with Fosi and my home Yamaha amp, and neither work with this. Either this is a 2.0 channel amp not 2.1, or this item is defective. If there is some kind of "trade secret" the manufacturer knows that could get the subwoofer to work (without having to send it back and re-order) - I suggest he contacts me and shares how this can be done (I can't seem to find any jumper pins on the PCB responsible for subwoofer output, but perhaps there's something I overlooked). Otherwise I just wasted more of my time on a substandard product. And I gave it full benefit of the doubt by re-testing it again tonight against 2 other amps and adjusting the review to be 100% sure I left no stone unturned and wouldn't cost the seller review points unfairly.. 1 star because there is exactly zero point paying twice as much for a 2.1 amp plus duties only to get a 2.0, and with half the wattage to boot.

Longevity not tested.
No idea about longevity . It was easy to install and wire up. Works good so far.

Less power than expected.
Great connectivity and features, but not as much power as expected. Running with a Dewalt 20v battery. I have the 2 and 1 amp circuit that is equal in power rating, is way less expensive and it is so much louder. Yes I had to add the BT receiver to it, but way louder for 1/3 the cost. This one works great, just not as loud on the same battery.

Amazing sound with separate adjustment panel.
Used to make our bedroom theater come alive. The separate volume panel and control panel was easy to install in bedroom And Bluetooth was a snap on our smart TV Incredible sound. Separate sub control mounted under bed great value now movies in bed are an experience. No expensive sound bar just hook up a couple satellite speakers put the TV on dual mode TV dynamic sound with theater quality rear speakers from amp. Amazing sound for pennies on the dollar
