Hardy and beautiful
These were not new as described and had been taped directly onto the top of the mat. I was concerned about pulling the tape off that it may tear, but it held! Very durable. The colors are wonderful and they add a splash of style to the table.

Awesome placemats
I used to spread a tablecloth over my wooden dining table every time I had a meal. It was a hassle—eating, cleaning up, doing laundry for the cloth. I needed multiple cloths, and the constant laundry was a chore. But this placemat? It’s a game-changer. After a meal, a quick wipe with a wet cloth, and it's good as new. So convenient! It’s made of cork, sturdy enough that it doesn’t break easily, and the design is lovely. I’m completely satisfied with it.

Great so far
After a week I am very happy with this purchase. They look great and lay flat. They also clean very easily. Only time will tell, however, how they will hold up over the long haul.

Very pretty placemats and they also seem sturdy. The cork backing is substantial and protects my glass table. The colors are a bit more muted than I expected, but all in all very nice.

Pimpernel placemats have no equal in terms of beauty & durability. Cost more but worth every penny. Life long user of Pimpernel - 40, yes 40 years. My first ones were a gift in the 1980's. Bonus, absolutely no smell upon opening so no toxic components. Once and only once I bought cheaper brand. I had to leave the product outside before it finally stopped off gassing. Long live Pimpernel.

Great quality coasters. Cork, heavy duty, the picture does not fade if you put a hot mug on it. Tasteful design. We got matching placemats to go with them. Placemats are cork, too. Very durable and they look very nice.
