So far I love this mat. I’ve used is 3-4 times a week for a month now. Previously I had a cheap $5 mat from Five Below and a few others that came in a yoga kit. I was concerned about the thickness of this mat due to I’m a bigger lady and didn’t want to have issues with balance or the mat moving while I moved or that weird crappy mat sink down that can happen. To my surprise I love the thickness. It stays put and feels great under my feet, knees, hands and elbows. It supports without sinking all the way to floor or really at all So I guess I’ll say it’s softly supportive. The size is great. I appreciate that it’s a bit bigger than my old mats. The mat is grippy for me except during down dog. That could be me as I’m still fairly new to yoga. I don’t slide all the way forward, just feel like I might... if that makes sense. It’s worth noting that I researched mats for months. I didn’t find a single one that was nonslip both wet and dry or the same for every person. My next purchase will be a yoga towel for those sweaty workouts to absorb my sweat. There wasn’t a smell when it arrived.

I can tell the material is made out of a durable, thick foam and the shoulder strap to follow suit as it is so comfortable during Shavasana, that I almost fell asleep in my living room. Easy to use, gentle on the knees and spine between the shoulder blades., and my sweaty little grubby little feet and hands don’t slide everywhere either. I love the green/teal in real life as it is pictured, it complements my gym bag very nicely which was the goal.

My floor has no carpet or rug. I had a thick mat, but had to add a thinner one under it. It was still uncomfortable and stiff plus it was too heavy and had no give to it. After searching for a mat, I chose this one because the reviews were so positive, and I wanted a softer mat with enough “give” that I can still balance well on one foot. Using my IUGA for the very first time, I am so pleased because it is very comfortable on the bare floor. It is lightweight, has a great stickiness to it, and had no offensive odor whatsoever right out of the package. The price was so reasonable for such a great mat. I would recommend this product to everyone. I’m still amazed at the comfort it offers me even though I have some hip pain I’m working out. Lying on my side is no problem. It’s an amazing mat.....just perfect for me. I appreciate the quality of this one.....they got it right!!!!!

Pretty good mat for the price. I ordered the green one and the color is so nice. The center line is nice for keeping a good form. Some of the cons I’ve noticed is that the mat scuffs pretty easily. Just from moving my bare feet and dragging slightly developed some markings. I haven’t tried to clean the mat yet, so those may come off with a towel and cleaner. Another con is that the mat stretches when force is placed upon it, like being in downward dog makes your hands and maybe feet slide away even on hardwood floors. Some of the pros are that it comes with a couple carrying strap options, so keeping it rolled up and put away is easy. The center alignment line is nice. The grip is decent, I’ve slid a little but that’s probably just from my own bad form. Overall, this is a nice mat. I’ll definetly get my use out of it.

High quality material, no smell, just the right thickness to lay flat and not move around on top of my carpeted floor. The best part is it is almost 3 inches wider than most standard yoga mats. I bought it specifically for the extra width as doing exercises like pushups on a 23 inch mat meant my hands were half on the mat and half off the edge on the floor

This yoga mat is one of the better mats that I have used. I love the line that goes down the middle of the mat so that I can align my self properly during my yoga pose. The non slip design on the mat is amazing and comfortable on your bare feet while doing poses. I also am in love with the thickness of this mat. It is the perfect thickness and is super comfortable while doing poses while letting you maintain balance.

This is my second mat to buy like this. The first one I stupidly left outside in the sun and it never recovered. I spent 2 years trying to find another that was anywhere close to as amazing. I finally just broke down and bought this one again. It's just wonderful. Doesn't totally compress when you are on it. Doesn't slide around at all. Perfect length. Don't waste your time. Get it.

I bought this mat in March and have since used it for 30-60 minutes of vinyasa yoga 6/7x a week. The mat offers great cushioning for beginners, and moderate grip. Practicing as much as I do, I have certainly worn this mat down and already need a new one. Pros: great cushioning, lightweight for travel, very short break in period, no rubbery smell Cons: wears down rapidly if used frequently, MELTS- this mat changes shape/texture if it gets hotter than 80 degrees, scratches/stains easily, textured surface smoothes and becomes slippery overtime (especially in hand/feet regions), slips on carpet and eventually wood floor Though I have gripes with it, this mat has served me well for the price. I recommend this mat to beginners and those who engage in restorative yoga. With light use in room temperature conditions, this mat will serve you well.

This is my first experience of Yoga, and I wanted it to be a positive experience from the word go. Initially overwhelmed by the choice of Yoga Mats I soon decided on the IUGA eco -friendly Yoga mat. The reasons being that the production and materials meant that it was eco-friendly which is important to me. I also wanted to support a small company. I am delighted with my Yoga Mat. I find the alignment lines very helpful and it is easy to keep clean and fresh. I would recommend the mat and Yoga to all in these troubled times.

Best quality mat I've ever owned and I've owned a few in the last four years. It cleans nicely, is double sided, robust and the quality is really good and strong. I've recently bought a second one in a different colour. I also like that it's not too thick as to make it hard to balance on one foot.

This mat is the best one I’ve used. Arrived quickly, Good size, grippy and made of eco materials. Why then does it arrive wrapped in a plastic wrapper? The reason I’ve marked it down to 4 stars.
