this is the best perch in my bird cages and put onto the inside door, they love it and they are using it also to keep their beaks trimmed and conditioned..they love it on their feet and for the bigger bird cages, the washers need to be at least 2" across, it seems to be comfortable for them,they are durabil and attractable, the material seems to be the right one as they love it.

Perfect for African Grey Cages. They both love it 💞. Very sturdy, the only issue is the clasps that go to the cage before you tighten it are too small for a parrots cage. I had old ones that were much larger & worked out great. It has coating on it to trim their nails too..

I bought this perch because my parrot’s nails were starting to feel like tiny medieval weapons, and his beak was looking a little too “I could open a coconut if I wanted to.” Enter this magical grinding perch. The moment I installed it, my bird strutted over like he was inspecting a new piece of gym equipment. He gave it one suspicious tap, then immediately started rubbing his beak on it like he was sharpening a sword for battle. Very comforting. Within a day, his nails went from “raptor talons” to “mildly threatening toothpicks,” which is honestly a huge improvement. He climbs on it, chews it, yells at it, and occasionally sits on it like he’s posing for a magazine called Birds With Attitude. The perch is sturdy, easy to attach, and apparently doubles as a spa, a scratching post, and a personal stage for dramatic monologues. My parrot loves it so much I’m starting to think he believes it’s alive. If your bird needs a safe way to grind down their nails and beak — or just a new platform for chaos — this perch is a winner. Highly recommend — 10/10, my parrot is smoother, sassier, and slightly less dangerous.

This is a much smaller sand perch than what was expected for the Large size, especially seeing a MaCaw on it in the preview and in a couple photos in the reviews. Our CAG has very large nails similar to the size of our Blue & Gold Macaw and would like to have a 1 1/2 inch diameter to file his nails and beak with. This is going to have to work for the time being and if it holds up well I will buy the natural perch with the sides having the roughest part on it and the top smooth from this company. For the price of $15.99 it seems to be well made, was well wrapped and shipped so to cause no damage to the perch. Will update as soon as I add it to Dude's cage this morning to see how he takes to it. Edit: I have thought about removing the sand perch from Dude's stand simply because he's never stood on it, & just poops on it often. It is easy to clean with natural miracle poop & cage cleaner, also bought on Amazon at a great price. For now, I will continue to leave it in his cage and see if he eventually does decide to stand on it. I thought about putting it on the door so he would have to stand on it as this is his cue to be let out is by coming to the perch on his door so he's on the outside when the door opens. I don't want to force him to stand on it as it may not he comfortable for him and I don't want him to be made to use something that he truly doesn't like.

I'm SO THRILLED!! I wanted a bigger/ longer sand perch that could comfortably fit all 3 of my parakeets, so that my older 2 could bond better with the new bird. I was afraid it might be too small, but the dimensions looked right, and it's turned out fabulous!!! I am so happy I came across this listing when I was searching. UPDATE: Perfect for 4 parakeets!! This has been the favorite hangout spot in my birds cage ever since I put it in, a few weeks ago. So when I got a 4th parakeet, I arranged the temporary cage right in front of this perch, so they could all hang out together, and it worked great. When I did add the new bird into the big cage, they bond happily sitting on this. I really can't recommend this enough. Best perch ever for multiple birds!!

Amazing product and excellent quality.

I purchased the extra-large U-shaped perch for my umbrella cockatoo, and it was extremely disappointing. This perch is nowhere near “extra large” for a cockatoo or macaw—in reality, it is sized more appropriately for much smaller parrots such as cockatiels, conures, or similarly sized birds. The diameter is too small for large parrot feet, the usable standing area is very limited, and the U-shape is awkward for a bird with a larger body and long tail feathers. My cockatoo could barely fit comfortably, and using it would have made normal movement, posture, and even basic things like eliminating waste difficult. The material also feels abrasive—almost like sandpaper wrapped around foam—which raises concerns about foot irritation, wear on sensitive skin, and durability over time, especially for powerful chewers. The mounting hardware and overall construction also feel too lightweight for a large bird. This product may work for small parrots, but it is misleadingly marketed for large parrots. Owners of African Greys, Amazons, cockatoos, and macaws should know this is not appropriately sized or built for birds in that category. Very disappointing purchase, and not something I would recommend for any true large parrot. Below is a picture of my Umbrella Cockatoo with his beak in the air (means he hated it). It is completely inappropriate for his body size.

I bought this perch for my Blue & Gold Macaw... notice how the photo shows (a usually larger) green wing macaw inside the perch... I can use this as a perch near one of the feed bowls, but there is no way any macaw (even a baby) would fit inside the perch.

J’ai un conure à joue verte et un youyou dans des cages séparées et je leur en ai acheté chacun un. Ils sont souvent perchés dessus. Le diamètre est assez gros pour limer un peu leurs griffes. Superbe achat, j’en suis contente!

The product is not suitable for an Eclectus parrot the diameter is not suited for their feet.

A prima impressione pareva un ottimo prodotto, ma dopo poche settimane a contatto con i pappagalli, la parte abrasiva ha iniziato a spezzarsi a scaglie ed a cadere.
