Awesome
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Researched heavily. I have worked in the HVAC industry. I am certified. I actually saw a utube where the guy took a wave 2 apart. It’s a mini Heat pump which means it can do heat or cool. This unit does what it’s supposed to do. I have seen complaints about cooking tents in 100 degree or more. Rule of thumb. No matter the situation an efficient system can only cool 20 degrees lower than ambient. That’s the best scenario is if it’s 90. Then maybe 70. But tents are not insulated. So it’s all about directed air to keep you comfortable. This machine is incredible. It cost a ton with the battery but the battery is LifePo4. Well worth it

Do not bother I put it to the test as I explain (twice) and it’s not worth it.
I purchased an Eco 3 with extended battery because I thought it was perfect for what I needed it and boy if I was wrong! I have a small inclosed trailer that I have put insulation on the roof, floor and walls. I wanted the EcoFlow because I had a trip to Fl and I designated the trailer as my K-9 trailer. I set it up loaded the dogs and heated to Fl. Boy if it became a nightmare! The trip that it was supposed to be 10 hours it turned in over 12 hour trip. So I left around 1100hrs from Asheville NC heading to Jupiter Fl. I arrived at destination at 0300hrs. Two hours into the trip the temperature really did not dropped much and I run out of battery. Ok I thought it’s early afternoon, the trailer is black, perhaps bad planning on my part but I had done everything I could possibly do to have a successful trip/trailer set up. I had to stop and move all the luggage from the bed of the truck to the trailer and move my dogs from the trailer to the bed of the truck and inside the truck. I have large breeds and dogs that don’t get along so needless to say it was very challenging if you out 5 dogs and 3 people in that situation. Two of my dogs had to be on the back seat of my truck with my daughter the rest we manage to put in the bed of the truck. Like I said I thought that I was at fault and that on the way back I was going to travel at night to avoid that issue. Again I was wrong! Yes I did put it for eco flow and the batteries did lasted longer but only for probably 4 hours. The dogs didn’t roasted because I didn’t had the sun and I had to open the side door of the trailer and secured it with a strap so I won’t have any incidents. So this product is not worth the money at all. It supposed to last 10 hours the setup I have, did not cooled the trailer much either even in optimal conditions. It’s hard for me to believe that this system works like you say it does in a tent with no insulation and in a camper. Please let me know how I can have my money back for this product. Thanks for listening and have a fantastic day.

Better With Every Generation
Awesome portable air conditioner. I have been a Ecoflow Wave air conditioning customer since the very first generation and they get better each time around. This one offers a bit more cooling and CFM than my Wave 2 which is a good thing. I use it in my aircraft and it does great at taking the edge off of the HOT AZ flying days.

Unboxing/Initial Review
Three stars because it's just the unboxing/initial review. Its easy to set up and quick to charge. It's a little on the heavy side with the battery installed, but still of decent size and weight, considering. The cord wrap is a little clunky, but the initial quality is good. I haven't used it off-grid yet; Using it in my house as a test, in a 12W x 12L x 8H room, it cooled from 78° to 72° in about an hour. With that in mind, I'm sure that in my 8W x 10L x 4H tear drop, cooling would faster. I'm also interested to see how the dehumification function works. I'll post an update when I'm able to use it off grid to rate hooking up the hoses and the battery. I'll also post any tips or tricks I find to make it more efficient.

Match the product to your specific application.
The product far exceeded my expectations. I had a specific specialized need for this AC unit. Not only did it meet my needs it far exceeded. I have tried similar products from other producers and this unit's features and performance was far better than the others. My application is sensitive to EFI and there was none. The quality and engineering thought put in to this product is absolutely remarkable.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
It's like having one ac/heat vent of a car, but in a very heavy large box. And it only lasts a few hours. Oh, and it doesn't work at all if the surroundings are either really cold (won't heat) or too hot (won't cool) -- basically when you could really use it. Not worth the money.

Not good for tenting.
If you are going to use this in a tent, dont bother. Unfortunately this will not cool or heat your tent, we had 86 degree weather outside and the tent got up to 92 degree. This is no good for a tent however snall rv thats got isulation this will do fine i think. Again for a tent its a no go, cooling performance is just not there.

HORRIBLE BEWARE!!!!!!!
Would choose 0 stars if possible The unit rattles like crazy ive had it for maybe a week and this has been an on and off issue since the beginning. Not only that but it really doesn't help keep the vehicle from getting hot or tent like its been advertised as and its been shutting off by itself for no apparent reason. No fault not the water being full literally no reason. Way to much money for a useless item. Unless this this is defective I would have no other explanation other then its just junk. Id think twice before you buy. Ps. customer service hasn't even gotten back to me at all really think twice on this one

After 1 full year this is 3 stars. 2 different units have succumb to excessive fan rattling noise.
The first unit I bought had to be returned because of excessive noise from the fan inside. The unit is actually very quiet for what it is otherwise. The customer service through Amazon was great, they sent me a new unit and I was able to receive it and return the old one afterwards after I requested that so I could continue to use it when it was so hot out last summer. The new unit worked fine for a while, but I'm not sure if a software update somehow messed it up, or something is just fundamentally wrong with the design being so compact but the excessive rattling came back. When I say "excessive" I mean it sounds broken, like the fan is physically contacting something and it's so loud you would need to leave the room to take a phone call. For reference, think of the sound a playing card would make if you stuck it into the spokes of a bicycle, only about 3 times louder that that and with a loud humming as well. This would absolutely be an instant return for most people, but I still kind of like the form factor enough I've compromised with a workaround. Using a ratcheting strap and some foam blocks placed near the top of the unit on both sides, when I tighten the strap the fan noise mostly stops. This looks hideous and it's a janky solution, but this tells me that something is actually wrong with the internals and that something is not calibrated or tightened properly. The reason I still like it and have kept it is solely because of the heat-pump function. If you live in an older home that isn't airtight, you can definitely run the heat-pump all winter by only attaching the exhaust to a window and allowing the ambient inside-air to be draw into the unit. Technically on paper this would be inefficient, but if you aren't looking for perfect efficiency and you're still running a whole-home furnace in your house but it's drafty, this works great to effectively have a powerful low energy space heater that feels similar to a vent on your floor when the furnace kicks on. So my little office that is always cold in the winter can heat up nicely. The battery is not really necessary for this specific use-case. But from testing, on max heat or cool it lasts about 45 minutes. On a less intensive mode like medium you can actually get like 2 hours in a small room. I don't use it for my vehicle or camping. I use it for peak-shaving along with larger battery power stations in my house with an Ultra-Low Overnight electricity plan. It's really unfortunate that the fan is absurdly loud without squeezing the outer-shell of the unit. I cannot recommend it outside of my specific scenario where I tuck it away with the vent pointed under my desk. There is likely a better solution, but I couldn't find one at the time so I kept it. For anyone wondering about "squeezing" the outside shell to stop the rattling, you need to push in the sides of the unit (the non-vent sides) roughly around the area near the top just below where the shell transitions with a vertex. Squeeze both sides of the unit and the fan noise should stop. Maybe some people lucked out and their units will never be loud, but I've had 2 do it, so I think the odds are fairly high that this is at least a common issue. Maybe they've since fixed this issue, after all I purchased mine when it first came out in April 2025. I am only giving it 3 stars instead of 2 on the assumption that I could just have terrible luck.

Attention . A lire avant d'acheter
A arrêter de fonctionner apres quelques utilisations . Retour impossible car impose une compagnie qui n'est pas dans la région. Très déçu
