Great shoes all around after 500 miles
Photos are after 3 months of use (15,000 steps a day - over 500 miles walking on sidewalks, trails, and grass) After 3 months of use, I can say that these shoes have exceeded my expectations. Wear/Tear: These shoes have held up great. I mostly walk on sidewalks, but will occasionally go on dirt trails or grassy areas at the park. The wear and tear on them looks as if I have only had them for a month. Tread Wear & Tear: The tread specifically has worn out as expected. I think I've probably put about 550 miles on them, and for shoes that I paid only $53 for, they have been amazing to hold up this long. Especially since most of my walking is on concrete sidewalks, I expected the wear on the tread to be more severe. They still have grip, and I could probably keep using them for another month, or another 100 miles ish. Fit & Feel: The shoes fit great and are very breathable. I bought these because I got the Rain.rdy versions of another Adidas trail shoe that fit great but needed something for dry warm weather, and these shoes were just what I needed. I will say though, like most shoes, the insoles that come with the shoe are not great. I always replace the insoles of all shoes that I buy with a Dr Scholls "float on air" insole. Just cut them to size to fit the shoe properly and it makes the shoe 10x better. I'm a size 9 to 9.5 depending on the brand. For these, I got the 9.5 and they fit great! I'll probably buy these again if they go on sale again.

Comfortable everyday shoe
These shoes are great for everyday wear and light trail use. They feel lightweight but still supportive, making them comfortable for walking, running, or outdoor activities. The grip is really good, especially on uneven surfaces, so they feel stable and secure. I also liked how breathable they are—your feet don’t feel too hot even after wearing them for a while. The cushioning is soft enough for comfort but still supportive for longer wear. They have a nice sporty look and seem durable enough to hold up well over time. Overall, a solid pair of shoes that are comfortable, versatile, and great for both casual wear and light trails.

Just spend more money on something better
These are ok for the money. For a trail running shoe, she should have a more aggressive tread. After about a week, not running, but 10-15 miles of regular walking, they developed a squeak. It's both shoes and it's not the sole, they make the same noise on carpet, grass, concrete or tile. I was hoping for a slightly less ideal, even less durable version of a Solomon speed cross, but in that regard they are a disappointment. Again, not expecting the same anything as a $140 shoe but these are still not what I was hoping for.

Nice look - Sizing/fitment ordering 1/2 size up is a good starter
Prior reviewer input of half size up is valid/accurate for toebox room/fit without socks. Might be a bit snug with lighter cotton socks, tbh. Shoe stretchers have always been a solid investment to have around when needed. Discounted price to $52 per pair would be a prudent purchase, otherwise, $70+ might be a push/seek alternative options

If it Quacks is it a Duck?
How about a DUCK? I own many pair of Adidas shoes most are some style of Terrex from waterproof top of the line to some basic Terrex Trace Finder Trail Running Shoes. Mine happen to be Olive Green size nine and I have owned them 4 months, fairly comfortable shoes. I may have worn them ten times, maybe? My left shoe has started making a very annoying noise no matter the surface or what my gait might be, its also pretty loud. I the grocery store today it sounded as though I was being followed down the isle by a Flock of Ducks !!!!! I guess I will throw them out unless I'm near a Pond and I'll just release them!!! Prime 30 days only for return, mine had not hatch that quickly!

Desert color adidas
The desert color was the first to attract my attention, next was the price tag. The shoe fits good, and comfortable. May not be waterproof, but is good enough for daily use.

They are waterproof
Great shoe at a very reasonable price. Bought as listed as waterproof. Have done 2 runs in very wet muddy conditions and had dry feet both times. They are comfy and have reasonable grip for a trail shoe.
