Precisely measured dimensions for 7.65x17mmSR Browning/.32 ACP dry fire dummy rounds
This item is correctly adequate for safe training in familiarizing oneself to using .32 Auto for function testing and dry firing their defensive and sporting tool. They are safe to drop the firing pin upon because of a rubber center that won't damage the pin. Excellent item and highly trustworthy brand. Just make sure to match the caliber designation from the tool to the snap caps, and that's it.

Fits a Beretta Tomcat 3032 just fine
Wanted to practice loading magazines and have a cap for dry firing. These fit and function perfectly. Sure, they're light, but they aren't supposed to be the same weight as a lead bullet/cartridge. Very happy with them, just wish they would be a LITTLE more generous and provide 7 rather than 5 for the Tomcat mag.

Well-made product, perfect for training
Some firearm manufacturers warn about dry-firing their products due to the possibly of firing pin damage. These are perfect to use; they are the exact size as an actual cartridge and being made of aluminum, are more robust than the cheaper, plastic practice rounds. I have yet to have the rim break off on any of the A-Zoom caps that I own, regardless of caliber.

Useful in many ways, but do it SAFELY
Meets several needs, well made and does the usual firing pin protection by giving it a "soft landing" spot. As mentioned before, it's a different color from live ammo - a plus..But first remove all live ammo from the room, or at the very least account for all live ammo and make sure it is secured well away from these practice dummy rounds..Two ways that I use this product:.The first is to "break in" a revolver. It takes several hundred double action (without cocking the hammer) trigger pulls to "smooth out" the action on a new revolver. You can use this or at the range with live ammo. Ammo is expensive - these lasted me for hundreds of pulls. BTW: My caliber is .32 Fed Mag, and these fit the cylinder just fine..The second use is the classic "flinch test" - of course this is at the range, and if you are new to this; with a qualified instructor. The test can be done with a revolver or an automatic. The idea is to have the dummy round come up unexpectedly. Was the hold maintained without movement when the hammer fell? Or did the subject "react/flinch" when there was no bang? Qualified and experienced persons can have someone else load so they don't know when the dummy is hit by the firing pin.

Solid product.
Great for storing old C&R firearms with internals at rest.

Use these for dry fire practice or malfunction drills
Many handgun manufacturers advise or require using snap caps when drying firing the handgun, to cushion and protect the firing pin from eventual breakage. These work well for that although they are a little pricey. They can also be used for malfunction practice while using live fire by randomly inserting one in the magazine. It would be nice if seven were included instead of five for the price, however.Needless to say, don't let any live ammo get mixed up with these for dry fire practice. These are colored so they are distinguishable from real ammo.
