Dose the light cast Shadows On the walls at night when it’s lit?

The crystals do cast shadows on the walls at night when the light is on. I enjoy the look, but it may not be for everyone.

Can it work with the wall switch and remote together?

yes. The wall switch can turn power on/off but you will need the remote to turn on light vs. fan and change speeds.
