Top Quality Gardening Tool
Effectively cut a 3 inch diameter branch in 3 or 4 strokes. Best pruning knife I have ever used. The clear plastic sheath is a winner, too.

Ideal Lightweight Folding Saw
Unfortunately I don't have experience with the other popular folding saws on the market, but I absolutely love this saw. Lightweight, reliable, and very good at cutting. I purchased this over comparable options because of the design mostly. I prefer the texturized rubber grip, and the simplicity of the thumb tab when releasing the lock. Also there are 2 cutting positions, allowing for more versatility. The saw only cuts on pull strokes, but I have no preference. This saw eats wood as others have stated. I remove the plastic case and add a loop of paracord when I take it on trips. I've made hundreds of cuts with the blade that was originally attached, and it is still remarkably sharp. Medium teeth gives more cutting variety I would argue, and I've cut soft, hard, and green woods. Cuts through 8" thick pine in about 180 seconds. Never actually timed anything. My only concern is that when your strokes are too vigorous when cutting, you can end up jamming the blade in at an angle accidentally. I've bent the blade a few times this way. Straighten it out and cut away however; slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.

This is my "hammer" and everything is a nail!
If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. I have other yard tools, but for the two years I've owned this saw (and the 6 months before that I borrowed one from a friend), this has been my go to tool for that tenacious work that is beating back a north Florida jungle (oops I mean garden). Because we don't get a hard winter, and summers are endless and rainy, trees start up like crazy. It's far too hot in summer sun for me so I tackle this beast annually in late summer (so now) when the sun is lower and I can work in shade and not die to death of heat. I've used it wildly, just swinging at taller weaker overgrowth and lately, I've been using it underground, trying to eradicate tree roots at their source. I've got fairly thick dropped limbs up with this beast. I've owned many a saw and am just stunned how fast and handy this little sucker is. And no worse for wear after two years despite my abuse. The locking stay closed mechanism stopped working, but it doesn't matter since I store it in its case. Or in my pocket as I go around my (aggressively large for a northern transplant who didn't know any better) yard. I can't say enough good things about this amazing saw.

Cuts like a dream
The blade cuts without effort. Very little binding. Quality materials. My only issue is that with two hands on the handle it is easy to hit the blade lock mechanism the blade will move up a notch without warning. For this size saw stick with smaller diameter trees/branches.

Can't be beat, even after 5 summers of use.
Purchased in 2021, has been with me on every summer camping trip for the past five summers and is still going strong. This little saw has been the only saw needed for everything from ultralight hiking to car camping. Able to actually handle trees and logs up to its full blade length with very little trouble, but better with up to 5" trees and logs. The lock isn’t exactly in the best place, but once you get used to not over gripping the handle, it’s no longer an issue. Well worth its weight in the pack, even the clear acrylic case.
