Installed in a 2012 VW GTI to replace the stock head unit. Wanted something with nav and hands-free for my teen driver. Pros: * Everything worked straight out of the box that came with the kit. * The actual installation was quick. (see install notes below. These are not a problem with the head unit, but worth understanding) * The wiring diagram provided is simple to understand . * Works with Android Auto and Carplay with no fuss. * Sound quality is pretty good for the price point. * Controls are easy to understand and the layout of the user interface is logical. Installation notes. Disclaimer: I was expecting almost all of this. You should make sure you do your prep work to make this as easy as possible. This is not a fault with this head unit. It is normal, expected work when installing an aftermerket stereo. * YOU NEED AN ADAPTER HARNESS OR PINOUT FOR YOUR SPECIFIC CAR. This unit is not plug and play without an adapter harness. Especially if your car already has things like cameras, nav and satellite radio. You will need additional modules to fully integrate this head unit (varies by car). Harness varies by application. * You will likely need an adapter bracket to install in a factory opening. I ended up building my own and 3d printing a faceplate to cover the large gap left in the dash. Again, this varies by car make and model. * Spend a little time before you install the unit, crimping spade terminals or some other type of easy disconnect connectors in place. It will make this unit easy to replace or remove in the future if you need to get into the dash. * If you install the rear camera and don't have one already, you will likely have to drill a hole through the body to run the cable. Don't forget to use a grommet to protect the wiring from the sharp edges, and seal it to keep water out.

Radio offers a lot of good features and functionality for the price, sound quality is good and the footprint of the radio allows for whatever room you may need in the rear of the mounting because it is quite small for a Double DIN. I had some issues with both cameras at first, so I reached out to support. They were really good at knowing how to connect and fix my issues. I had a bad backup camera cable, so they sent me another one from their warehouse within 3 days and I was up and going quicikly. Backup camera works quite nicely and the clarity is nice and crisp for such a tiny camera. For my install, the camera was mounted next to the vehicle tag and the cable is not quite long enough to properly reach the backup wires for the lamp, so I ordered a 10ft 4-pin camera extension so the camera extends all the way to the wire connections for the right-rear backup lamp. My tailgate's wire entry point into the vehicle is on the top of the tailgate, so that 10ft extension just made it with an extra foot to spare. Dash cam quality is not quite there in my opinion. It says it does 1080, but the images are fuzzy when viewed on a computer. What is included works and will give you a working camera, but if you want super crisp video, you'll need to buy a separate one. I would just buy the radio kit with the backup camera and buy a real dash camera. To retrieve the media, you have to remove the card. Controls for the dash cam is done on the camera, which is a bit clunky. I have only had 2 issues where the car did not autoconnect to the phone in the past 8 weeks of owning this kit, may have been operator error because it happened during the first 2 weeks of owning it and taking the dash apart a several times to resolve my camera issues. Has not happened since. Note that my install was on a 2011 Chevy HHR. Installation of the radio was super easy once I figured out which of the two wiring diagrams was the proper one. I used a RED WOLF Radio Wiring Harness. (note this is a separate item to buy) This car also does not offer a key-on power wire like a lot of the other vehicles, so I had to buy a fuse tap kit to supply my own key-on power wire. Also note that on an HHR, the turn signal clicks are generated by the factory radio and once you swap over to an aftermarket radio, you lose the turn signal clicks through thr tweeters.

Not only is the product just what I needed, but the company stands behind it so I can get a nerdy custom boot screen! So I have an old Mitsubishi SUV, made in the era before Car Play, and I got this head unit to replace the CD player with. + The major advantage was that the price to feature ratio. (I also consider a physical volume knob to be a major plus, since the unit has to be mounted low in my SUV, and I can adjust volume without looking away from the roads. + The screen is bright and clear, responds pretty well to my calloused hands. + The system is decently quick, going between screens and menus, without infuriating load times, or noticeable frame rate drops as items on screen move about. +++ THE COMPANY HAD A SUPPORT EMAIL TO WHICH YOU COULD SEND IMAGES, THEY CODE YOU A NEW UPDATE so now my screen boots up with a reference to the 2016 video game TitanFall 2, also the update made Car Play connect faster than any other car I've ever connected to. +++ It comes with a dash cam and a backup camera. I don't have the backup cam installed at the time of this review but the dash cam is of decent quality and has several modes by which to record, and should be pretty helpful in the case of an accident. + The sound is good! This is a HUGE variable you'll find in reviews, cause... different cars have different speaker sizes, amount of speakers and all that. I can confirm that if you have four door speakers, 6.5" Recoil 2 Ways, this will drive them with good volume and clarity. Not a huge amount of bass, but that's probably because of me having 6.5" speakers. - The downsides are that the UI is not very customizable, the backgrounds can be changed, but not what functions or widgets are where on the Home Screen. There's always an analogue clock on the left hand side of the main screen, and I HATE ANALOGUE CLOCKS ON A DIGITAL SCREEN, WHAT IS THE POINT??? (Yes I can read them) -The remote that comes with it, is a remote that uses infrared or whatever, rather than a radio frequency, so you have to point the little bulb at the front of the remote to the front of the head unit. This means if your vehicle is moonlighting as the boombox for a degen party, this remote is barely more convenient that just getting in and using the screen.

I'm gonna keep it real, this sjoybring 7” double den android qled radio is LLOWKEY ONE OF THE BEST PURCHASES EVER! 🤩 I mean, the sound quality is fire 🔥, the cameras are crystal clear 📸, and the android system is SO SMOOOTH. I use it in my ride in Daytona, and it's been a total game changer for my cruises on the Flagler Loop 🚗💨. The front camera is perfect for keeping an eye on the road and capturing those sick views 🏞️. BUT, let's talk about the customer service - WOW 🤩. They are literally the best! Super responsive, super helpful, and they really care about their customers 😊. I had a request with the setup, and they walked me through it like I was a pro 🤑. If you're looking for a banger of a radio for your ride, look no further! 5 STARS all day, every day ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

At first I had ordered the version with the dashcam but when I got the package the dash cam wasn’t in the package. I emailed the product companies support and they responded immediately helping m troubleshoot my wiring problems and also told me the would send me a dashcam in the mail for free since I didn’t get it originally. They were extremely helpful and resourceful. If you have a 2007 fj cruiser the screen will fit but you will have half an inch of empty space on the sides of the CarPlay.
