The quAlity of makeup is ok. It does not stay on as long as I would like. The colors are pigmented well enough but the quality is just not amazing. It also has a bunch of lip colors to choose from and also face powder and blush. Can also be used to contour with the darker powders. I would reccomend this as a starter set of makeup to maybe a teen or someone barely learning to apply makeup. I cannot speak for the quality of the contents as I haven't sampled any of the makeup. There are 82 separate colors /pieces in this set. The array of colors is well arranged, amazingly broad, and quite impressive. In addition to the numerous small pots of cheek, lip, and eye colors, there are two eyebrow/eyeliner pencils (one brown and one blue). The bottom tray contains several cakes of compressed face powders, and a couple of cream coverups. There are six small double-sided foam tipped applicators, and one makeup brush included in the set. The train case box is well planned. A handy mirror covers most of the inside of the lid. The box is designed to open upward and backward, spreading the top two levels outwards, toward the back, (in the same manner that many tool boxes open and unfold the top level toward the back) thus giving easy access to the colors and tools on each of the three levels. I was surprised to see that, what I thought was the back panel of the case, is really a separate brace (or a case-wide leg) that supports the extended trays. This keeps the entire box from tipping backward when the top two trays are open. It has been five months since I gave these cases to the girls. They still tell me how much they are enjoying these All-In-One Makeup Kits. I think that they made great gifts for the girls!
