โPlease Install The Dustbinโ
For those of you that are familiar with this repeating error message, you know what I am exactly talking aboutโฆand the message repeats over and over despite repeatedly removing and reinstalling the dustbin onto the unit. ANYWAY, the fix is relatively simple after consulting with a โprofessionalโ at The University of YouTube: (there is a small magnet within the dustbin, that triggers a sensor when it is not in place, alerting the robot to cease all functions to prevent it from shooting loose debris through its rear end). Youโll need a 1) sharp knife, 2) super glue, 3) clear silicone or โGoopโ multipurpose/universal adhesive/glue, 4) plenty of light, and 5) patience. Remove the dustbin, drain the water tank, dismount/dislodge/lift the air filter portion, flip the dustbin upside down to lay the gray portion on a flat surface, confirm that the magnet is indeed loose, use a knife to lift the rightmost edge that covers the magnet (or pry off the entire covered section), observe the slotted section toward the right side where the round magnet fits perfectly and secure it in place with the clear silicone or โGoopโ adhesive, and use the super glue to secure everything back together - NO MORE (dustbin) ERROR MESSAGE ALERT ๐จ โผ๏ธ ๐ Overall, after having repaired the dislodged magnet within the dustbin, this is a seemingly decent robot vacuum and mop combination. WiFi connection and registration was a PITA, but it eventually synced. Controls are straightforward once you are familiar with the user interface, and it does a pretty good job. Once the dustbin was repaired, Iโve had a satisfactory experience. It wasnโt life-changing, but itโs better than I can do on my own given my disabilities. I purchased a used unit at a discounted price and it arrived in a haphazardly packed box with everything loosely strewn about. The unit appeared clean despite the deep gouges on the uppermost areas of the robot from apparent explorations beneath furniture, but the error message prevented all functional capabilities. Thankfully, YouTube saved the day.

Best investment
Best investment by far, I have 2 dogs and a cat, the shedding is unreal. I have hardwood floors and the hair would be everywhere, plus I'm allergic, so I was vacuuming my house 3 to 4 times a day. I have had this vacuum 3 months now and I absolutely love it. I only have to manually vacuum once a week now to get in between and under things. It also mops and my house smells so clean when I get home from a long day at work.

My Robot
Had a problem with the deck that would not work to receive the floor trash for 3 days. Was going to send back on Monday and had Cancelled the order to return the Robot. An hour before the UPS showed up with the shipping label, I decided to run the Robot one more time. The Deck Worked. When UPS brought me the Label, I told her It worked and I would not be sending it back because I cancelled the return. It takes some of the pressure off to keep the floor clean.

Great if you only want it to last 1 year before having to buy another.
Purchased March 2025. Loved the bin that I could just empty when full and not have to deal with buying/replacing bags. Seemed to do well initially, even with our 2 dogs. I don't use mopping features so really only tested the vacuuming capability. House is mostly tile with a couple of low pile area rugs and only 2 bedrooms with carpet. Because of the 2 dogs, and one being a heavy shedder, we ran the vacuum every day. However, after several months it seemed every once in a while it would go back to charge and look like it backed into the base station but for some reason wouldn't charge and so it would go offline. Had to manually remove and put it back in contact with the base station. Then it would charge and be ready the next day to clean. Sometimes it seemed to get confused by a door mat and would spin in circles or just sit with the vacuum motor running for many minutes before either giving up and shutting down or starting back up again. Also the app lost the map a couple of times and I had to go find and restore it. In May 2026 the main shedding dog had to be put down so we only have 1 now. I have removed and cleaned the components that are supposed to be cleaned. I have replaced the filter inside the vacuum several times in addition to beating the dust out and replacing in between replacements. Replaced the main brush 2 times and will remove and pop of the ends to remove any built up hair and dirt in between. Now in July 2026, the main brush motor reports being tangled even though there is nothing there. If you try to manually turn the main brush it grinds if turning at all. Contacted Eureka via their website chat and told that they would have to send it to a different group b/c this was a specialty item (it's a robot vacuum...????) and I would hear from them in 3-5 days. 10 Days later still nothing so back to chat. Same, your case has to be sent to a special group and should hear something in 3-5 days. Warranty is only good if it actually can be used. I just want a robotic vacuum that vacuums and works for more than a couple of years before having to be replaced especially at these prices. Ecovacs OMNI X1 before this stopped working too, and after the second X1 died we figured a vacuum company should be able to make a vacuum that works. Apparently not so. Oh, and we bought the Asurion extended warranty and that won't help b/c the main warranty is supposedly still in place.

Great customer service
It was the best robot vacuum I had ever purchased it. Purchased it in August worked flawlessly until about December then it stopped emptying I called customer support they were going to send me a new dust bin however would not have one until June. Customer service refunded me my entire purchase price. Customer service is great. Iโm sorry my little robot stopped working. BJ Texas
