Most Amazing Product EVER!
I've always been impressed with Tomy products - whether it's toys, baby products, novelties or electronics - they are always so ingenious and creative! The KiiPix is no exception and I'm here to tell you that this product is as brilliant as it is simple to use.KiiPix, simply put, is a camera that takes pictures of your smartphone photos - and creates instant prints of them! Using Fuji's Instax film (sold separately), all you have to do is load the film, set up fold-away stand and place your smartphone face down on it. With your selected picture already on display on your screen, all you need to do is push down on the button and then use the dispensing knob to roll out the print.vAny picture you have on your smartphone, you can turn into a print - in seconds and inexpensively! This is just so easy to use and the quality of the prints is just as good as the old-style Polariod type instant film from way back. What makes it even better is that you can spend your time taking and finding the perfect pix on your smartphone to turn into prints, and then ONLY print out the phones you want. There's no wasting of instant film trying to use a regular camera to take pix - you already have the perfect pix on your phone! So smart, so incredibly to use!I've been waiting for this to come out here in America for almost a year (it was available in Tomy's native Japan last November) at more affordable prices, and finally it's here! It comes in 3 different colors and folds compact after use so you can carry it along with you! It needs no electricity, no batteries and no wifi to work. It's just that simple! Most of other "printers" spit out cheap photo-print shots, but the cost of those is much, much higher and the pix end up feeling flimsy. The KiiPix solves all of that by partnering with another inventive and creative partner, Fuji!I highly recommend this for you, your tween/teenage kids - it even makes a great wedding reception activity for the guests - all you have to do is try it!

Hands down best value instax printer on the market
I'm not the type of person to leave tons of reviews, but I can't help but share the love for this product. Such great value considering how well it works and how great it is that you don't need to charge it or deal with bluetooth connection on your phone. Such a simple, straightforward "low tech" design that brings you pretty much the same thing as the "high tech" $80-$140 phone printers from HP, Canon, Fujifilm, and Kodak.I've been wanting a phone printer cuz I could never justify buying an instax camera when I already carry a standard digital camera with me most days (I shoot with a fujifilm xt20) and I already have an iphone... So... this thing truly suited my needs perfectly. Perhaps the higher end printers will give more vibrant colors, but I'm pretty happy with mine and I haven't had any of the problems like having the photo come out all black. The rolling effect does come through ever so slightly, but that doesn't bother all that much. I think it adds to the charm of the photo. Anyway, I can't say enough good things about this product and how happy I am with it. If you're eyeing it, definitely grab it! It's worth every cent.Be sure to align your phone screen properly with the given frame so that you don't get funny borders on your picture. The frame is designed to sit on top of the printer in a flushed position, so if it's off, that could also affect how the printer comes out. I'm honestly so happy with this little printer, and I can't wait to take it with me while traveling and share polaroids with friends and fam on visits, as well as just have little polaroids I can put into my bullet journal now. The photos were printed in slightly dim room light and my iphone screen was at its brightest! Hope these tips help. Have fun!

READ IF YOU ARE GETTING BLACK PRINTS
SO I FIGURED OUT THE SECRET TO THIS PRINTER.SOMETIMES THE SHUTTER DOESN'T OPEN WHEN YOU PUSH THE SHUTTER BUTTON.If you are getting black photos, this is 100 percent the reason why. What I figured out is that you have to listen verrrry closely for the shutter. What I would do is first, before putting any film in the printer, set it up as if you're going to print a photo, but don't put your phone on top. Instead, turn on the flashlight on your phone, and point it at the shutter and push the shutter button a bunch of times, looking for the shutter to actually open (I promise you can see it). ALSO IT SOUNDS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WHEN THE SHUTTER OPENS COMPARED TO WHEN IT DOESN'T OPEN.BE COMPLETELY FAMILIAR WITH THAT SOUND.So now, when you're actually trying to print a photo, DO NOT ROLL THE PRINT OUT UNLESS YOU HEAR THE SHUTTER SOUND FIRST (so keep pushing the shutter button).I am not sure if this is what the manufacturer intended, but it is how it is. Maybe the ones that you have to do this are defective? If so. Kii pix, could you please consider sending me a new one? Because this is pretty dumb. The reason I think my printer is defective is because I have been watching videos of other people using this printer, and when they hit the shutter button it makes a MUCH LOUDER SOUND than my shutter button. Thanks :)

Great product some issues
I got this product used because I wanted to save money so some of it is my fault. I burned a lot of film trying to figure out why it wasn’t working. I did some trouble shooting and for some reason the shutter doesn’t work when it is face up. I tried turning it upside down and it worked perfect. The photo quality is good and a lot of fun to use. I have a normal polaroid camera so it’s nice to have something to transfer my phone photos onto instead of taking the photos. After I figured out the initial problem it worked great. My only tip is to buy it new to avoid any problems. But other than that I love this product!
