I saw an ad for a waffle maker that was priced around $70, so wanted to see if I could find something less expensive. I settled on this one after reading a few reviews. I have been using it every morning now for about 2 weeks, maybe slightly longer, and I love it. I use a very small amount of olive oil spray and use the brush that comes with the omelet maker to spread it evenly around. Using two eggs the maker is deep enough that I can add a generous amount of ham, bacon, cheese, sweet pepper, onion, or whatever I have on hand to make a nice omelet. I cook for slightly more than 3 minutes, turning the maker over halfway. The included brush/spatula is great, I use the brush part to spread the olive oil spray and I use the spatula side to lift the omelet up to slide onto a plate. This maker cooks the omelet evenly, quickly, it has never stuck, the size is perfect for a two egg omelet with a generous amount of fillings, the price is very reasonable, and to clean it I wipe it down with a warm Swedish cloth or sometimes I might have a package of fragrance free wet wipes and that does the trick as well. A quick wipe down is all that is required to clean this thoroughly and then it's ready for the next day. I wish I had bought this sooner, it's one of the best appliances I have ever purchased.

Be Patient, it takes a few tries to get used to using it. One large egg and a bunch of cheese a few bits of diced ham or pre-cooked bacon works great. After the light comes on to show it is hot and ready it only takes maybe 2 minutes at most to be cooked. I put my egg in and let is set for 15 seconds then add my ingredients. Then 30 seconds later I turn it over for 30 more seconds, then back for another 20 seconds and pull the plug then back over for another 15 seconds and slide it onto my plate. Works great. Almost every morning now. Easy to clean. Let it cool way down then wipe it clean. Every couple days or so I wipe it with light soapy & Clorox mix then rinse off the cooking surface and wipe it dry. I also made really thick oval pancakes in it. Love this item.

This is my second purchase of this appliance. Because I have two homes I wanted one in each location. I love this appliance because not only will it make wonderful omelettes without having to flip it because you just turn the appliance over if you feel like you need to, but you can grill many things in it not just an omelette and it closes the lid and the heat from both sides cooks and it cooks . I can’t say enough good things about this appliance. I highly recommend it the quality of it. It’s sturdy heavy duty. It’s very easy to clean as it’s nonstick and if you care for it like you should, it will last a very long time.

Its great for cooking 2 egg omelets,,,,,,fast,,,,,,I think using cooking oil will make that non stick last longer.....

My first attempt to make an omelet with my new omelet maker was hilarious! I preheated the omelet maker mixed 2 eggs with a little milk and ham. Poured the egg mixture into the maker and locked the pan, I heard the sizzle, set a timer for 2min. 30 seconds. Flipped the pan and again heard the sizzle and set a timer for 2 min. 30 seconds. Shortly I started hearing a noise, just as I went to check the lid popped open and the omelet went flying onto the floor. It was perfectly cooked but too hot for my dog to eat. I didn't want to try again, but DON'T COOK YOUR OMLETE FOR MORE THAN 2 MINUTES ON EACH SIDE. I'll try again when I finish laughing about seeing a flying omelet. I bought a second omelet maker as the 1st one wasn't enough for 2 people at the same time. I cooked the omelet for 2 minutes flipped it over and 2 more minutes. I heard the same noise as the first time and opened the omelet maker right away. I would suggest only cooking for minute 45 seconds on each side or open as soon as you hear noise, this means your omelet has expanded enough. DON'T LEAVE YOUR OMLET MAKER UNATTENDED! The only problem was the omlet maker wasn't sealed in shipment. This applies to the 1st one, which I returned as it was incomplete. The second was fine. The 3rd one was also not sealed during shipment and missing the oil brush. I kept it because I already had a brush from the second purchase. It is worth buying!

Absolutely love it. It does exactly what is advertised. I would highly recommend this product.

Do not purchase this item!!! I usually buy Red Copper 5 minute omelette cooker. They were getting really expensive so I thought I would try this brand but after a week I started having to use pan spray so my eggs wouldn't stick to it. The more I used it the more the nonstick surface started peeling off which can't be good health wise....do not waste your money. I would rather spend more money on something that is safer to use.
