Super Sticky Magnetic Tape for DIY & Crafts, 3.3ft x 1/2in (1m x 1.25cm)

Purchased this to use in conjunction with fiberglass window screen(another vendor) to make a bug screen to cover my Forester sunroof while camping. I cut a piece of screen larger than the sunroof opening and laid it over it. I used tin snips to cut four pieces of the magnetic tape slightly longer than each side of the sunroof. The magnetic strip cuts and unrolls easily and adheres through the screen to the outside top of the vehicle. Of course gravity helps some, but I believe that it is strong enough to keep the screen in place in most windy conditions of locations where I may camp. It is easy to take off and roll up. I am looking forward to trying it in actual camping conditions in the near future. I will just need remember to to take it off before I start driving home. The tape would not adhere to the front of my stainless steel refrigerator, but did adhere to the painted side. Of course, no magnet will adhere to any non-ferrous material. I believe the product is designed to write on with a dry erase marker and stick to a ferrous surface. It is only made to hold itself up, but a 1 inch strip will hold a maximum of two sheets of 8 x 11 pieces of paper to a refrigerator.

I haven’t text of how many hundred or probably thousands of these at this point I have ordered. I use them ALL THE TIME for everything in my classroom. I bought a pack for my mom so she can hang photos on her fridge easily. These are great!! They aren’t the strongest magnet so if you when a bigger or heavier item you may need a couple of magnet squares but still a great value with so many classroom and home uses.

As many, many reviewers have noted, the "adhesive" backing on this tape is absurdly weak. The tape itself is thick and stiff, has a permanent curl from being rolled up, and the "adhesive" (if you can really call it that) is on the outside of the curl - meaning when you stick this stuff on an item, the ends of the tape are continually trying to lift off, which they quickly do, then the tape just falls off by its own weight. I mean, WTH? Someone thought they could sell this garbage? I used this product to stick a fan remote control (which is practically weightless) to the fridge. The magnet was strong enough and it worked well at first, but a few days later I couldn't find the remote. Discovered the tape still stuck (magnetically) to the fridge, but the weightless remote fell off when the "adhesive" (I'm being generous here) let go. Unfortunately for me, the remote fell into a trash can which I emptied before noticing what happened. Not good. You might get this stuff to work if you use staples or screws to attach it to the item, but do NOT under any circumstances rely on the "adhesive", or whatever the heck that stuff is!

I use this for one of those refrigerator weekly calendars. I don't have room on my fridge but I still want to use it. Anyway, It holds up okay. After a couple weeks I've had to replace it. That's without moving the calendar at all. The magnet doesn't seem to be that strong and the adhesive isnt holding well either. I did clean the wall and let it dry before applying. BUT part of my problem with the adhesive could be really old paint on the walls and it's slightly textured. I still feel the magnet could be stronger though..

I made my grandkids wooden plaques for their lockers, but I needed something magnetic to put on the back. This was the perfect solution. They are thick and hold well to the wooden pictures. The size is perfect and it’s versatile so you can cut how much you need. It looks good and sticks great. Would buy again.

I had to put a brick on my object so the magnets would adhere. Because they are rolled up as they are. Not a huge problem, but be warned, you’ll need to apply pressure for a few hours so they stick k to whatever you’re using them for.

Great item works well and adhesive is strong!

This was what I needed. I am thinking about buying this item again but in 1 inch if they have it because I have thought of many other things that I can use this tape on.

Que dire sur des aimants autocollants, à part qu'ils collent parfaitement bien et qu'ils s'aimantent parfaitement bien ? N'espérez pas aimanter des outils lourds, mais pour faire tenir des affiches plastifiées, c'est parfait, et c'est bien pour ce type d'usage qu'ils sont faits. Je ne peux que recommander !
