THIS is the perfect car seat bag I've been searching for!
This bag is perfect!!! I researched car seat bags like crazy. I knew I needed one but didn't want cheap ones I had to keep replacing, or expensive ones that were super bulky and hard to store. I decided on this affordable one and tested it for 2 short flights this week, gate checking it both times. It fit my bulky, heavy car seat no problem, but wasn't overly big or baggy. Just right. The material is really nice and thick like regular backpack material. The blue color is nice, easy to spot but not glaringly bright (I didn't love the red and yellow of other brands for that reason) It has sturdy backpack straps AND a reinforced handle on front AND an plastic window for info AND a buckle closure flap AND a built-in zipper pouch for small things while traveling, or to store the bag between uses. It does take a bit of practice to get it back inside the pouch, and I knew I didn't want to take the time to do it in the airport. So I tossed in a thin canvas bag, like smaller than a reusable shopping bag. I took the seat out of the sack, clipped the seat onto a Gogo Travel Mate mini cart (another total lifesaver, worth it's weight in gold!) and loosely folded this bag up and threw it in the canvas bag. Light and easy to carry. When I got home, I inspected the bag. No tears, marks, or signs of wear. I folded it back into the pouch and thanked my lucky stars that this is the one I picked! PS I also tried clipping the bag (with the seat inside) right on to the cart I mentioned above. I clipped the backpack straps using a basic carabiner I had stored in the pouch. It worked great but my toddler didn't want to walk for more than 30 seconds, so I stopped and unbagged the seat. But it's another versatile use if you needed to get it gate to gate and the child is up for walking.

A must have for repeated travel.
We purchased two of these since we have two kids and travel by plane frequently. Pros: 1. First, the bags are HUGE! I can't imagine finding a carseat that wouldn't fit in this bag. This also works great to stuff jackets, etc that you don't want to carry on the plane. 2. The shoulder straps work great. They aren't super padded, so if you have heavy carseats, these will most likely dig into your shoulders a bit. We have very light carseats specifically for travel, and we have had no issues. We can also wrap the strap around a luggage handle, or our stroller handle with no problem. 3. They close pretty much completely around the carseat. They bungy up, and they have a separate flap that flips over the opening. We have had no issues with water/dirt/etc getting to our seats. 4. The material is quite thick! after repeated use, they are showing some wear and tear, but no rips after 2 years, and probably 8-10 trips (16-20 flights). Cons: 1. Really can't think of any! Traveling with carseats is a pain, but necessary! These will help make your lives easier.

Travel Tested
December 2018 to January 2019. We flew with this from Fresno, CA to Madison, WI with a connection. I have read about damage (from handlers) and the material not holding up. But these comments are posted in any of the comparable products. The travel bag was easy to use. The material was sturdy. There was no damage on our travels. We checked at the gate, so it was handled like normal luggage. It folds up nicely into the bag. I do recommend the product. Will travel again in February and a few times this year, so will update as necessary. Update February - Wife traveled with infant from CA to DC/VA. Car seat was checked at counter with AA. The bag was ripped and damaged when picked up at baggage claim. I do not fault the bag's durability, but rather how the airlines handle checked luggage. Wife was traveling alone with our infant; so she coudl not check it at the gate, which may have reduced the likely hood of damage; but she had her hands full with a carryon and a backpack; and then the baby on her chest. Also for cost of $20, I ordered another one and sent it to her in DC/VA in time for her return trip 8 days later.

Great item and helpful for carrying the car seat
This bag has now made one round trip (4 flights total, two layovers with a plane switch in between each). I see a little wear at the bottom after this trip but nothing major. It is big enough to fit any car seat, and the draw strings make it snug. The bag has a handle, as well as two straps to carry on your back. The two straps came in handy as there is no way I could have carried my daughters car seat, and the two bags I had. All in all, for the price, great item!

This is a Great Product!
Pros: •Big bag we have a Britax Boulevard and it fit perfectly not tight or anything. •big and clear words on the front. You can easily see “Handle With Care”. The front flap with your info is also well protected. •You pull the cords and they easily go into the bag and then you buckle it closed. The cords won’t fall out and you have peace of mind that the car seat is secure. •Good handle to grab and the backpack feature is awesome. You are able to throw it on your back to carry it. •The material is thick. You can tell it is gonna last a long while. Overall it’s a great product. It is exactly what we were looking for and we couldn’t be more pleased! Definitely recommend!

Bad durabililty with convinient features for travel
I recently purchased this car seat cover for traveling. While the cover initially seemed promising and performed well during travel, I encountered a significant issue after only three uses. Despite handling the cover with care, it tore at the corner, as shown in the attached photo. This tear significantly compromises the product's durability and functionality, and I hesitate to use it again for fear that it will get worse from this tear. Given the short duration of use before, I cannot recommend this product. Pros: Good for travel: The cover fits well in the car and protects the seats from pet hair and dirt. Cons: Poor durability: The cover tore at the corner after only three uses, indicating a lack of quality and durability. Overall, while the cover is effective for short-term use, the lack of durability is a major drawback. I would not recommend this product based on my experience.

Game Changer. Fit Two Car Seats, xtra travel gear, backpack
Just bought this to replace the other brand travel bag (the red one, no backpack straps). My last one worked fine for two years of travel but eventually got a tear. This product OVERALL is more premium, , thicker, durable, and easier to use than the red bag. Totally worth the price. Best parts, I was able to fit TWO travel car seats inside, one for a 4yr old and one for baby, stacked on top of each other and the bag still closed, you have to configure them just stacking, not like a Tetris, so it can close and still snap. Secondly, I was able to throw some extra travel gear in the bottom of the bag (free checked baggage), and lastly, I can wear this as a backpack which is waaay more comfortable then dragging it around with the small strap on the other one. Do yourself a favor and buy this bag.

Price is right and it fits my seat
Updated after use: I bought the Cosco Apt 50 specifically for air travel. Cost has us going the lap child route. Since we now need to check the seat I decided to get a travel bag for it. This bag seems like it will work well. Most importantly it fits over my seat. This bag held up well and my checked at the check-in counter seat arrived at our destination undamaged. We used it for the return flight and again had no issues. After using it. I really appreciate the flap that buckles down. I tucked the strings in and the flap made it so I didn't worry about the strings working their way out and catching on things. Similarly, I shorted the shoulder straps as far as they go before checking the seat. There was little/no slack on them with my seat in the bag. Which also lessened the chance of the straps catching on something and possibly damaging the bag or worse the seat. My car seat is only 10 pounds in the bag. (According to the scale at the airport.) It was easy to carry short distances as a back pack. But anything longer was pretty uncomfortable because the seat digs into your back.
