You can see the sensor detecting your hand as there is a red LED flashing but it does not flow water. You can even hear a small click like trying to work but only works when it wants. Tried with multiple batteries with no success (lithium batteries as they recommend) now I’m stuck with a faucet that is not working. I thought the sensor was dead but it’s like the actuator does not have enough energy as you can hear a small click. But, as I stated before, I tried with different batteries: -first with a set of lithium new ones. -then I though that the batteries were old (I mean old in stock and they discharged) and bought rechargeable lithium batteries, charged them to full before use with no success. Same result. Also when it opens you need to get the dragon balls to ask Shenlong to stop the water flow since if you move your hand the water is still flowing.

It also runs on AA batteries, and since it only activates when in use, it should last a while before needing a replacement! Great faucet, batteries are a pain but there was no electricity near the sink. Pretty simple setup. Only problem is the IR sensor isn't replaceable. This is the second faucet where the IR sensor was bad and I had to replace everything
