First purchase I have ever made to FEEL like it was worth the money I spent every time I use it
This is a review specifically for people who are desperate for heat relief BUT the price tag for this item gives you minor heart palpitations. I live in Houston. We have three seasons: Summer, Fall (which takes place in December) and Diet Summer. It is hot most of the year. You get soaked in sweat walking across the HEB parking lot and even once you get to the car you haven't escaped the danger because you still gotta strap in without suffering first-degree burns from the buckle. I made this purchase out of sheer desperation. I was fully prepared to send it back as the rip-off gimmick it surely had to be. What I did instead is buy a second one a year later for my parents. The Coolify's metal bands are what sets it apart from any cooling device I've ever tried- from anything YOU'VE ever tried. They don't rely on the fans to "get cold". You don't have to fill it with water or ice or stick it in the freezer. You don't need to buy batteries for it every four or five days. The bands just... get cold. So cold, in fact, that I am not fully convinced this device is powered by science so much as... the set location for Elsa's ice castle. And it makes a HUGE difference. It sets the Coolify in a league all of its own. Each and every time I hit that power button, it is immediately followed by a full-bodied "I'm so glad I bought this" sense of relief and contentment. I regularly recommend it to anyone around me. The fan is nice, it gets the air moving, but those metal bands though, man... The Coolify isn't too heavy or bulky to me, and the silicone surface means that it doesn't chafe as you sweat. It adjusts to the shape of your neck without feeling too tight or too loose. It means not having to put up with a heavy bit of plastic rattling around painfully on top of my collarbone with every step, nor does it feel like a frail, 117-year-old man ineffectively attempting to strangle me to death. All this being said, I do have one teeny-tiny gripe. A single drawback that has proven a persistent enough nuisance that I cannot finish this review without mentioning it: once while wearing this device, the fan sucked in a single loose hair on the nape of my neck. And EVER SINCE THEN the fan has made a steady buzzing noise that I have NEVER been able to get to stop. The air holes for the fan are far too itty-bitty to get any tweezers in there, and there isn't a way to open up the housing to pluck that single strand of hair out, so I live with the sound of a tiny bee buzzing in my ear when I want to not die of the heat. Annoying? Very. But a small price to pay during the long, LONG summers here in Houston.

Dead after less than 5 months - to the junk recycle pile
No longer charges after less than 5 months with occasional use of 1 to 2 times per month. The warm / cool modes were ok while it lasted. Now it is electronic junk to be recycled.

Not quite defective, yet not effective
Scenesetter: I bought this for my daily commute. I walk about 1/2 mile to the DC Metro, take the train, then walk another 1/2 mile to the office. Reverse course in the afternoon. In spite of TORRAS's hype, the 2025 COOLiFY 2S is not worth the price. To be clear: It does cool. It does NOT make a difference outdoors in July heat and humidity, AM or PM. I did not expect it to have any magical effect on the DC humidity, but I expected better for the temperature challenges, and the COOLiFY 2S is not up to task. Where it does provide a modicum of relief is upon boarding and riding a minimally air-conditioned train car and sitting with no effort toward walking or other movement. Depending on the car's cooling capacity, the 2S assists in bringing the temperature down for my cheeks and neck area, partially resetting me for the second walk of my commute. For this bare minimum service, the machine gets a second star. If shaded, indoor, air-conditioned yet still mildly uncomfortable environments are where you're looking to cool down, then this MIGHT be for you. (I'm thinking airport gate agents, that sort of workspace.) Additional note: I checked out the app in the Apple app store, since there's Bluetooth connectivity. The amount of data this Chinese product sucks from your phone startled me, and I have Facebook. I wouldn't load that app on my enemy's phone. Anyway, hope this helps your decision making process. I'm on the fence about returning the thing because I'm fortunate enough to be able to absorb the loss, but if this is an investment of consideration for you, consider carefully. I didn't expect a miracle machine, but the COOLiFY 2S is weaker than advertised.

Look no further if you want an AC neck fan. Trust me.
38y/o male. US size 10.5 As someone who can out-sweat a heard of cattle, I now own two. First, yes they have cooling plates and they get cold. Very cold. I've been through numerous neck fans and some are great fans but I needed next level and this is it! It works very well.amd is powerful . Here's all u need to know: Full charge from empty about 1-1.5 hours depending on rate of charge. Even off a power bank. I own a 50k mha Fan feature push selector button on left neck once F1- low speed will last about 20 hrs F2 - medium will last about 12 hours F3 - high will last about 8 hours Cool feature push selector button on left neck once C1- cool w/low fan ≈ 4-6 hours C2- cool w/med fan ≈ 3-4 hours C3- cool w/high fan ≈ 2-3 hours *powerful Heat feature hold selector button on left neck Not a clue...probably will never use it unless ice fishing or shoveling snow. So more to come The case is great. Fits the fan well with very little rattle..comes with a USBC to USBC cord, no power brick. Comfort: it's a little tight at first but the silicone neck strip will break in over a few uses and be more comfortable to your neck. After a few uses. Very comfortable. Not too heavy. May be a little heavy for elderly. Cooling plates feature too cold for elderly (75+) even on low. I've tested it in a few church members Noise: very quiet for spectators and user On any fan level 3 mode it's a little loud to carry on a conversation at 20 feet without other person raising their voice Durability: very well made and Hope they last. I have a tan one that beeps with mode changes. My black one doesn't. Just something I noticed

Not impressed
I wasn’t impressed. My husband said it made his neck cold. I tried it at work with a fan blowing on me, I felt nothing. I don’t think the battery life was very long at all.

Immediate relief for someone who always runs a little warm
I’ve tried a lot of different solutions to keep myself cool like a belt loop fan or hand held ones to try and help keep me cool. All were much less expensive, bulky, or too loud. This was a big jump in cost but I can say every penny was worth it. I had another rechargeable neck fan similar to this and it was great but this has what I believe is a peltier effect neck cooling and heating zones making it a huge game changer. Both are noticeable and the cooling mode makes this work for me where a basic fan is just blowing hot air on me. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone else. It is a little girthy boi and I have a shorter neck so it’s a little more noticeable but I wouldn’t say it gets in the way of anything. So much so I can sleep with it on, but you have to be careful not to block the vents that cool the peltier. That warm air may get a little noticeable in a slightly confined space. The lowest fan setting is not silent but in no way is it distracting or annoying. If you want to use this with a battery pack or while charging, they include a right angle usb cable connector to use with it which was nice. Also you can operate this thing while charging which is a huge plus to this unit. From full charge I was able to run it on the lowest cooling mode for 3.5 hours straight. Update: It's just over a month of usage and I just encountered a one time strange glitch. I turned the unit on and it said it should be operating but no fan and no cooling plates. I tried turning it off and back on and still nothing. I turned it off, plugged it back into a charger, and it came back alive and is working like normal again. Not sure what happened but I hope this doesn't happen on a super hot day where I really need it. Still seems to be getting ~3.5 hours on the lowest setting with the cooling plates on so I'm still really impressed. One other plus to add is another praise of the design of this cooler having a soft rubbery bend area instead of a hinge. My other cheapo neck fan's hinge is made of the most delicate of plastics and it snapped on that joint. You get what you pay for!

Best active cooling device I've tried
Disclaimer: I received this Coolify 2S for free from Torras, but was not required to write a review. This model appears nearly identical to the earlier model of the Coolify 2S that I bought almost 2 years ago, but the new version is rated for slightly longer battery life. It still has a small display to show the mode and the battery level. The cooling modes work just as well as the previous model, with 3 different levels of cooling. The lowest level is not very loud and effective enough for many conditions, but I definitely appreciate the higher levels in the summer because I have bad heat intolerance and live in a very hot area. See the included video for a short demonstration of the loudness of the 3 cooling levels outside on a day with little wind. It’s not very humid where I live, but I expect it should work well even in humid environments because it doesn’t rely on evaporation. Compared to Sony’s Reon Pocket 5, it’s significantly more effective at cooling, but also larger and louder (at least on higher cooling levels), which are completely worthy tradeoffs for me. Both devices can be used together, and I often do exactly that in the summer. It can also be used on the leg above the knee while sitting down, if you want to reduce the noise reaching your ears or a microphone. It works well for drying out my ears after cleaning them, too. The 2S also charges quickly with USB-C Power Delivery and can be used effectively while charging it. The included protective case is convenient, too.

Not effective in extreme heat
Arizona in August renders this product useless. Maybe it works fine when the air temperature is moderately warm, but when it’s over 100 degrees and you really need it, this does not work.

Over Priced
Not as good as I thought it would be. Didn’t come with a charging cable or wall plug
