Roll came wrapped in some plastic with the included crimp ends. Made a few 40-50ft cables with it so far and all have linked up at 2.5G no issues. I wish it came in a pull box since I have to make sure it doesn't unwind randomly to become a huge mess of loose cable. Maybe easy with two people, but when you're pulling cable in an attic by yourself that's one more thing to have to deal with.

Solid great quality wires

We live in the boonies and had dsl until recently, poorly maintained and never upgraded. They were the only game in town so we were stuck with it and my Cat6 cables were probably overkill for their equipment. When our electric co-op brought fiber optic to our itty bitty town we jumped on it. The increase in speed was amazing. I was told my Cat6 cables were perfect and I didn't need to upgrade them. When I saw this cable I thought, why not see if we can do better. Let's get every bit of speed that's coming in. I don't have all the specs or knowledge that some of the reviewers here have but I appreciate their facts back up what I've experienced. My system is faster. Quite a bit faster. Page loading is instant. It felt like it was back to the speed I had before installing an antivirus program. I'm thrilled with that. I use my laptop as a desktop and have it on a swivel (think lazy susan). The connection holds well and hasn't hinted at breaking the little tab. The connector ends feel like they're a much better quality than any I've bought before and the cable itself is nice and thick, doesn't want to coil on itself and straightened nicely to run through a chase along the baseboard. After ordering the first one through the Vine program I bought another for a second computer. I couldn't be happier with these cables.

Nice cable

I don't normally gush over things that do what you expect them to do, but in this case I was very much surprised that replacing my CAT8 cable with this CAT7 actually increased the thru-put by almost 10 percent. My old cable (because this is my new one), served me really well for over a year. My router is on the other side of my office, and I don't like to use wi-fi because it's a bit slower and less reliable for some of the software I run that needs to process the IP packets, so I need to use a cable that is at least 12 feet long (this one is 15) and can pass under my carpet. I normally get really great performance, but when I switched the cables, expecting a decrease or maybe the same rate, I went up by 8.7% in almost all of my tests. It really should not have been better, and subsequent tests with other CAT8 CAT7 and CAT6 showed the same (or very close) throughput as the original CAT8 I used for a year, but this one was a clear winner in each test. The only down side is that it's quite a bit thicker than all of my other cables and doesn't quite run under the carpet as well, so I had to route it a bit differently. I probably should not have deducted a start for that, but there is no way to deduct a half-star. If thickness is not an issue for you, then this particular cable is a clear winner.

Good quality cable, only miner issue I had, Orange white and brown white wire are looks pretty similar when you untangled.

This a very very durable cable with great stats on latency and clear signal. Clips are study and clips are easy to handle but stiff enough to withstand gravity over time.

As a network infrastructure professional with 35+ years in the IT field, including the design and implementation of structured cabling systems across many different environments, I was impressed by the construction and performance of this 15-foot Cat 7 S/FTP Ethernet cable. The Meipek Cat7 cable seems well-engineered, featuring triple shielding (S/FTP) and high-quality RJ45 terminations. The connectors are cleanly crimped, durable, and provide a solid lock into ports, which is important for maintaining signal integrity and minimizing possible EMI, especially in congested electrical environments. Functionally, this cable exceeded my expectations. While I didn’t anticipate a noticeable difference compared to my Cat6 cables for short runs, real-world results showed improved latency and throughput in local data ops - file transfers, backups, and interoffice communication all showed noticeable improvement. Ping and traceroute tests between key endpoints on my LAN returned consistently lower latency. Streaming performance also improved. While our fiber optic WAN provides high throughput, intermittent buffering during peak internal traffic had been an ongoing annoyance. After running this Cat 7 cable directly from my desktop to the router, I observed significantly reduced jitter, which is likely due to the cable's improved shielding. From a cost perspective, at $9.99 per 15-foot run, these cables are more economical than crimping custom lengths in-house when factoring labor, QA, and connector costs. Additionally, the build quality rivals or exceeds that of cables we’ve sourced from higher-end vendors. I’ve already begun replacing mixed Cat5e/Cat6 segments in the office with these Cat 7 runs and will continue the transition. Highly recommended for any high-throughput, low-latency LAN environments where signal integrity and shielding matters. To summarize in real terms, these cables defintiely do not appear to be cheaply made. 5 stars!

If I could give this 10 stars I would! Ive not seen my teenager since I purchased and installed this cable to his PC! If you're like me and you've had to listen to the incessant dismay of how utterly c**p the wifi is in your kids bedrooms, or how terrible their fps is, or how laggy it is, or having to listen to thundering footsteps coming down the stairs to restart the wifi coz it's "dog" then you need one of these. I didn't realize when I bought this that i was actually purchasing a little piece of heaven! Thank you!
