I wouldn’t say this is an exact dupe of Takis. This powder has ever so slightly less umami / salt and is slightly tangier (my opinion), but the vibe is spot-on. I actually bought Takis with this to compare. I would say that the offensiveness (??? for lack of a better descriptor) of the initial taste—that striking zing of flavor you get when the first Taki touches your tongue, you know, the sour / spicy / salty combo that makes your mouth water—is almost exactly the same. It’s also pretty addictive. The “offensive” flavor is what I love about Takis and this powder delivers that for me.If I weren’t very sensitive to flavor, I don’t think I’d bat an eye if someone told me this was Taki powder (unless I had a side-by-side comparison). Unfortunately I bake and cook so I nitpick flavors, but even so, I’m having a blast with this flavor, lol. It tastes great in trail mix and probably also great with fruits.

I was hesitant on purchasing this because of the price and non refund-ability.But truthfully. It is very delicious. I was scared for no reason.I have ate Takis. I have licked takis. This seasoning is very good.I hope they never stop selling it. I know theres a lot of people who make takis inspired seasonings on tiktok. I haven't tried them and don't need to now. In my opinion,this seasoning, to me, truly tastes like the powder on Takis chips.Yes there is a slight “chicken bouillon/concentrate” flavor. But it is slight. And super delicious in my opinion anyways.Next time I think I will purchase the one without Red 40 Aluminum Lake from Tiktok unless they list it on Amazon.I am thankful to the vendor. Literally ordered this yesterday, and I have it in my hands now. I want to let you guys know that at least to me this DOES taste like taki powder. It’s sooo good, can’t wait to try it on cucumbers!!
