Keeps the Nest powered no matter what weather decides to throw at it
I’ve had this solar charger hooked up to my Google Nest camera for five months now and it works like a dream. The camera instantly recognized it was plugged in and switched to solar power with zero hassle. Temps have swung from bitter 28°F to scorching 104°F. Add humidity, rain, heat, whatever — charger just keeps pushing juice like it’s on autopilot. We live in Louisiana with a lot of rain and cloud cover, and the charge still doesn’t suffer. It keeps up through all of it. Mounting and hooking it up was easy enough that I didn’t need to swear once. No issues so far. As long as you keep the panel exposed to daylight, this thing keeps your camera alive. No dead batteries, no constantly checking charge levels, no alarms at 2 a.m. If you want your security setup to stay alive through seasonal chaos and forget you even need to plug it in again, this solar charger’s a clean win.

Save your money…Do not work as battery or back up!
Installed and mounted 3 cameras and solar to the roof of my home in direct sunlight free of obstructions. The installs were easy. I’m a 51 yr old female and it took less than 10 minutes with a ladder and drill. Cameras were fully charged prior to install. The battery power on every camera ran completely down. The solar panels have not recharged the batteries ever! Buyer beware - there is a 30 day return. The battery takes longer than 30 days to run down. I purposely let them run completely down to see if maybe they would recharge. Nothing! My suggestion: Save your money and install the cameras where you can easily access them and recharge or use wired. The solar panels are not reliable as a “battery” for use or backup.

Excellent Solar for Nest and return of investment
I’ve been using the Premium Solar Panel for my Google Nest Camera for several months now, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance. This panel charges my Nest cam seamlessly, day and night, and I’ve never had to worry about power interruptions — not even once! What really stands out is the reliability over time. It’s built to last for years and years, and you can tell from the moment you open the box that it’s made with quality materials. Through rain, sun, and even cloudy days, the panel keeps working without fail. Also, a big shout-out to the customer service team — they’re incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. They go above and beyond to ensure your setup is smooth and trouble-free. If you're looking for a worry-free power solution for your Nest camera, this solar panel is hands down the best investment you can make!

Finally solar panels that work!
I have been searching for a solar panel for my Google Nest Cameras - I was getting tired of getting up and down to charge them. Some outdoor cameras I had a outdoor plug to use - but I had four cameras that I needed solar panels to keep them charged. It took time to find the right location to place them, but so far so good, the sun is charging the panels (slowly) and (slowly) charging my cameras. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone looking use solar to charge their cameras.
