This stuff works so fast it’s unreal! So much better than the gummies and faster absorption as well! Oh and bonus it takes great!

My mother and I (she's 85 now and I'm 64) have both been using this product for 2 years and it WORKS. I have NO problem with the taste whatsoever, and neither does she. As other reviewers have noted, there are NO groggy side effects. On the contrary, I feel rested and perfectly alert after a good nights sleep thanks to this product. I put just 1 drop into a scant quarter cup of water before bed and I sleep for hours. When I wake up in the dead of night, if I'm feeling stressed about something that might keep me awake, I have another drop in a little water and off to dreamland I go!

I don't often write reviews but this supplement has been such a positive addition to my life that I just have to spread the good word. I've tried every type of melatonin (honestly, there isn't a brand at Walgreen's that I haven't tried this for this supplement). While results for all others have varied, it took me years to first realize that SUB-LINGUAL MELATONIN is optimal for me (it's the BEST WAY to ABSORB IT in my opinion) and then to find the AMOUNT & POTENCY / FORMULATION that gives me the results I want. I don't want to have to wait hours to fall asleep/not feel anything. I also don't want to feel hungover the next day from taking it. Most importantly, I want to have a really good sleep that lasts a long time. This product does EXACTLY THAT. It tastes delicious in the mouth and comes with clear directions. The only caveat I can think of is that I almost always get one or two very in-depth dreams, but that's a small price to pay for waking up feeling like I resolved my sleep debt or finally gave my body the rest it needed. I highly recommend it.

This brand of liquid melatonin works wonderfully. I have severe insomnia and am on three different sleep medications. Adding 2 droppers (6 mg) of liquid melatonin really helps on those nights I just can’t get sleepy soon enough. I take it sublingually (under the tongue) so it absorbs faster and am tired within 30 min. Combined with magnesium glycinate and I’m really sleepy. I don’t mind the vanilla flavor, it’s pleasant. My only complaint is that it’s very sweet but otherwise this is a great high quality melatonin that works fast since your body doesn’t have to break down all those binders and fillers you’d get with a pill version. As someone who hates taking pills, this is a wonderful way to get my melatonin without the bother.

I highly recommend this Life Extension brand liquid Melatonin. Like other reviewers said, I’ve tried other popular brands that didn’t work for me. However, this brand (always recommended by our longtime family doctor) really helped me from night one. One dropper full under tongue & I was relaxed & promptly fell asleep. I woke up refreshed. I don’t know why some people complained about the taste. I didn’t mind at all. I highly recommend you try this if you can’t sleep. It’s a low dose, lower than the 5mg my Dr suggested.

Our family had used sublingual cherry melatonin for years (decades?) and loved it, but I insisted on splitting the tablets, even though they were only 1 mg., because I want each person to be on the lowest dose possible and only take it when they need it so they don't build up resistance (yes, thats a real thing despite what your doctor may have told you. There are studies showing that your body will build up a resistance and that too much artificial melatonin isn't a good thing--please research it if you are interested in finding out more.) So, I was thrilled to find liquid melatonin so that we can each take just a drop or two if needed (and more on other nights when more is needed) but I can make sure everyone is taking as little as possible to optimize their sleep. Pros: Easy to swallow for elderly and children Easy to dose since you can administer it by the drop Helps cut down on melatonin resistance by providing lower dosage Works great for my family We love the taste Cons: Anything artificial you put in your body is not as good as what it can produce by itself, so if you can use natural folate from food and sunlight to produce your own melatonin, that will always be better than any product you can buy. For those of us that aren't getting enough melatonin on our own, though, this is a great way to supplement it.

It would be great if there was more flavors available. The current flavor has a bad taste to it. Wish it tasted more like zquil

Works well. Taste is tolerable. Easy to dose. Pipette has multiple measurements printed on it, which is helpful if you want to take less than the full 1ml dose. I'm taking 0.25ml about 2 hours for bed. Haven't slept this consistently in years.
