Did not have to wait months as I have on other things sent from China, I think it was around 2 weeks or so. The blade just blew me away with the folded patterns in an almost crimson coating, I mean this sword is really a beautiful thing to behold. I have already put several more swords in my wish list for a later purchase. Oh yea and it is very sharp, not razor but enough to do some serious damage to an intruder if it ever I need it for such a reason! I don't use my swords for cutting bottles and stuff but am certain this one would have no trouble doing so if you are into that sort of thing. All in all, I absolutely love this sword and highly recommend it or others Shijian makes.
