Sooez 12 Pack Bulk Pens Ballpoint Smooth Writing pens

I always hesitate to get ballpoint pens because I usually get broken, uneven lines, blots and they die quickly. So far, these pens are much better than expected. In fact, they are smooth enough to write like gel pens, with no skips or blots. I haven’t used one up yet so I don’t know how long they last but you do get 10 in this set, which should be enough to keep me writing for a good long time. I much prefer these retractable pens than ones with caps. I don’t think I ever used a capped pen without having to look on the floor for where the cap fell. They always fall but not, of course, with retractable pens. These are pretty easy to hold. I am glad that they are not super fine point, which are hard to write with and hard to read. These pens are easy to write with and easy to read. I am very satisfied.

I don't hate these as much as it's probably going to sound like. They are not junk, but they are what they are - inexpensive ballpoint pens. I like that they are retractable - that is always my preference. I like that they have a rubberized grip. That definitely makes them easier to hold on to. A far as writing experience, they are just ok. Better than some, but not exceptional. The ink started out smooth, but before long, it was getting streaky. Not skippy, though, which is a problem with my previous pens that I was hoping these pens would solve. It also seems to matter what kind of paper you use. I am currently using these pens with two notebooks. They both have nice thick paper, but one is noticeably smoother than the other, and these pens seem to prefer the rougher paper. That said, regardless of the paper, writing with these is not butter smooth. It's good enough that I'll use them until they run out, and at the price, I might even reorder, but they are what they are. Also, they seem small. I don't think they have less ink than similar pens, but the barrel just seems to be sized for small hands. I do not have small hands. I would not recommend these for anyone with big hands. I would recommend them for small adult hands or for responsible children.

Dried up...none of these pens work. Total waste of money.

They're not exactly the full size pen I expected but maybe for 3.99 it's ok

This is a fairly good set of pens. Nothing fancy, but they work well. They're very lightweight, and have a nice rubber grip, that makes them comfortable to hold. I like that they're retractable, so I don't have to keep track of lids, and I prefer the medium ballpoint, as fine-point doesn't show up, or write as well. There is a substance covering the point of each pen, that you have to remove before they'll write. One thing I've always done is, place another piece of paper under the paper I'm writing on, to get a smoother, darker flow of ink, without skipping. These pens are no different. I tried writing on a piece of paper directly on the table, and the ink wasn't as even or smooth. As long as I put another piece of paper under the one I'm writing on, these pens work great. I think they are a good value at $3.99 for a set of 12.

These retractable ballpoint pens are decent enough for everyday use. The ink flows smoothly—maybe not the best I’ve experienced, but good enough. My main issue is with the line width. Interestingly, the description calls them both “1.0mm” and “medium point,” but after comparing them to both 0.7mm and 1.0mm pens I own, they seem much closer to 0.7mm. So, the “medium point” label seems more fitting, as 1.0mm is typically considered “bold.” The ink also appears slightly less dark when placed side by side with a 0.7mm pen. Of course, this is just based on visual comparison—I have no way to measure it scientifically. Overall, these pens are perfectly adequate if you’re not too particular about line thickness or ink darkness. Whether they’re a good value depends on the price, but as I’m writing this, the product is unavailable, so I have no reference for that.

These 1.0mm pens glide across the page with no line breakage or inconsistent color but not in all cases. If writing on a pad of paper or in a journal where there is some cushioning, and if not on too great an angle, it writes beautifully. When I put a single post it note or sheet of paper on the table and write, the smoothness is not there, and look of the letters skip and get choppy. The pen also skips sometimes when held at a slanted angle. In the included photo, when writing in cursive, the skipping is more prominent. The ink thickness nice. They are super lightweight. The pen grip isn’t very soft but it’s comfortable nonetheless. When the clicker is in the depressed position, there is a rattling sound with movement from the clicker moving up and down. These are good, basic pens to have on hand, in the office or to put in your purse or backpack. Enjoyable enough writing experience but not a pen lovers dream.
