Game changer!!!! Been using solar ionizer for years now. Literally cuts my pool chemical use immensely! No issues with algae, cloudiness or ph balance. Still keep chlorine floater full but only shock once per month (unless there is heavy use) and only use algecide for pool opening. Seriously, you need this before you get an issue!

Does a good job keeping algae away. Unit needs to be cleaned every 1-2 days in midsummer.

This is a must have if you want a clear pool without a bunch of chemicals and hassle. I use this and float a chlorine tablet in my pool - thats it!! I run the pump 2 hours in the morning, 2 hours in the evening and vacuum weekly and my pool is always crystal clear. I’m using in an 18’ best way above ground pool. This is well worth it! I’ve struggled with algae previously and could never get my pool clear even with getting water tested and using the many recommended chemicals. This solved all that for me at a fraction of the cost!!

I don't know what all the hype was on these. Didn't notice much difference in our water but would constantly have black stuff falling off it. Even after cleaning. Didn't feel safe with my kid swimming with it since I didn't know what it was
