Work shoes
I have been looking for these shoes for months. ASICS don’t have them on the website anymore. They are the only ones that I can wear for work! They are most comfortable for my feet and ankles.

More cushion than previous Nimbus models
feels different than other nimbus that I have owned. I am on the 6 or 7 pair that I have had and used for 25 years. These have a different sole that seems way more cushiony. I used them on the treadmill and they seemed strange on my foot strike compared to previous nimbus versions. That and the bottom sole tread seems to be different. It does take some breaking in and will try them on the trail. But they feel super cushion and I am going with yet another pair whilst conforming to HOKA.

The one shoe that just keeps getting better
The Asics Gel Nimbus 27 is hands down my favourite running shoe of all time. I’ve put more than 250 kilometres on it and somehow it keeps getting better. The comfort and bounce are amazing right out of the box, but after the first 100 kilometres the shoe really opens up and becomes a whole different level of smooth. What impresses me the most is how durable it is. Nothing has happened to it, no issues with the upper, no wear on the midsole, not even serious abrasion on the outsole. It still feels fresh, stable, and ready for more miles. This is the kind of shoe you buy once and immediately want to stock up on. It’s reliable, forgiving, and just a joy to run in every single time. My most trusted daily trainer, easily.
