Dragon Glass in Your Hands!
Overall Used this to clear coat the pillion (passenger) foot pegs on my Triumph Speed Twin 900 after laying down a 500° satin black engine paint—and the result is ridiculous in the best way. They went from basic hardware to something that looks like it belongs on a fully custom build. The gloss finish has real depth to it—almost a “liquid glass” look. The biggest surprise here is how easy it is to control. The adjustable spray patterns aren’t a gimmick—they genuinely help you get even coverage, especially on small or awkward parts. Bottom line: If you want a true gloss finish that pops and a spray can that’s actually easy to work with, this delivers. Just make sure your base layer is dialed, because this will absolutely showcase it. ____________ Pros * Finish is unreal (“dragon glass” level gloss) * Took satin black engine-painted parts and gave them a deep, glassy shine * Transformed basic parts into something that looks custom and high-end * Easy, controlled application * Spray goes on smooth without fighting the can * No weird sputtering or uneven bursts * 5-in-1 nozzle actually matters * Adjustable spray patterns (vertical + horizontal fan) made a big difference * Allowed for even coverage on small, oddly shaped parts like foot pegs * Great for detail work * Easy to hit edges, corners, and tight angles without overloading one area * Helps avoid drips if you’re even halfway careful * Low odor (for what it is) * Still paint, but noticeably less aggressive than expected * Much more manageable for garage or light outdoor work ⸻ Cons Gloss is VERY glossy * If you’re going for OEM or subtle, this might be too much * Definitely leans toward a “custom / show finish” look Prep still matters (not a miracle fix) * Will highlight imperfections underneath * If your base coat isn’t clean, this will make it obvious

Great Shine!
The clear coat is really nice. It is very glossy and really easy to use. The 5 different spray options is such a nice feature to have. It really allows for the right spray pattern for the part being coated. It isn't just some gimmick, it really works. I followed the directions on the can and my parts turned out beautiful! Make sure you follow the instructions for drying time and re-coating. The clear coat has a different re-coat time than the paint. I have the parts curing now and they seem to look better each day. I used it to clear coat one large part and two medium parts. 3 Coates on each part. The can had enough clear coat to cover the parts with some left over for a small part if I need it. Only time will tell how it stands up to the elements but for now it looks awesome. I'm going to use Cerakote paint sealer on the parts before I install them. Hopefully that will help the coat last a lot longer. This is really good stuff.

excellent product!
This Has Got To Be The Best Clear Coat For Outdoor! I Used It On Wood For Signs And Just Everything Outdoor And It Covers And Sprays Great! If One Clogs After Use You Can Use Another Setting To Be Able To Use The Entire Can Unlike Most Spray-paints That Clog After One Use! If It Does Clog Spray It Upside Down And It Seems To Clear The Clog! It Says Automotive But Works Great On Everything! Super Clear And Water Beads Right Off.. Bought 5 Cans Already!

Excellent quality
Very good spray paint, easy to apply and with excellent coverage. The color was uniform and dried quickly, which made the work much easier. In addition, it does not drip easily and the finish looks professional and shiny. I used it to renew some metal pieces and the result exceeded my expectations. The boat yields a lot and has very good adhesion. I would definitely buy this painting again. Highly recommended!

Good clear coat for touch-ups, but use light passes
I used this clear spray mainly to seal and blend a small paint repair on the exterior trim of my car after applying Toyota touch-up paint. Overall it did the job well and helped even out the finish so the repair looked much less noticeable. The gloss clear coat dries fairly quickly and gives a nice shine once it sets. Coverage is good and the adjustable spray patterns are a useful feature. Being able to switch between different spray modes makes it easier to control how much paint is coming out depending on the area you’re working on. One thing to be aware of is that it can come out a little heavy if you’re not careful. On my first pass it was a bit drippy, but I realized that spraying from a slightly greater distance and applying several light coats works much better than trying to cover everything at once. Once I switched to lighter passes, the finish came out much smoother. If you’re using this as a clear coat over touch-up paint or for small automotive fixes, it works well as long as you take your time and build the layers gradually. It’s still too early for me to fully judge the long-term durability, but after curing it seems to form a reasonably tough clear coat. The finish feels solid and has held up well so far, especially in terms of protecting the touch-up area from light surface scratches. While it’s hard to measure overall sturdiness without months of wear, the coating does appear to add a protective layer that helps seal and blend the repair. Overall, a solid clear spray that provides a good glossy finish, just remember that lighter coats and a bit of distance give the best results.

Worked great for me after wet sanding and buffing.
Worked very well on my car. The optional spray options came in very handy. I was doing some work on my rear fenders and it turned out great after wet sanding and buffing.

THE BEST PRODUCT!
Dude. I can’t even begin to thank Rustoleum enough for making this product. It hits way harder than its price tag. Its honestly a steal. I covered my 05 Accord with like 9 or 10 cans with a LOT left over. Vertical fan produces professional results. Literally perfect product. IT IS EXTREMELY EASY TO USE, i recommend watching a video on this exact product for technique BUT IT IS NOT REQUIRED. Dries insanely fast. Color is deep, sticks well. Insane. Thanks Rustoleum. Quality ass product and my favorite nozzle. Beats mixing paint and using a spray gun tbh.

Good paint and I enjoy the nozzles too
I'm putting a three and a half horse 4 cycle on a bicycle an old huffy and I used your paint gloss back black and it looks wonderful I put a 36 tooth pulley on it it will probably do over 65 if I stretch a rod just right and besides a stress rod stretched rod makes more horsepower the throw is longer haha
