Nice inexpensive desktop mic for remote work
I have anywhere between 4-10 phone calls every day at work, and frequently record tutorial videos or other audio clips for marketing purposes, so the quality of my audio is pretty important. I've gone through a couple headsets with mics, but either had the mic fail or the quality just not live up to my expectations, long-term. I was looking at springing for either a Blue Snowball or Yeti, but decided to start with the Amazon mic here to first make sure that my desk and headphone setup would work with a small desktop mic. I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality of this thing, though, and don't think I'll be moving onto a Blue unless this suddenly fails. Pros: - Easily accessible mute button on top - Very light and easy to move when you want to - Rubber tipped legs make it difficult to accidentally knock over - Sound is clear - Long cable Cons: - There's not a lot of flexibility with the legs - you can't position the mic really higher or lower, it's just kind of where it is. It might be too low for some folks if you don't mount it on an arm. I have it on my desktop in front of my keyboard, though, and my natural speaking/sitting distance works well. - The cable isn't a standard micro USB or USB C cable, so if it's too long for you (as it was for me) you have to deal with it. This was a weird one - I was planning to swap in a short micro USB cable, because the distance between the mic and my laptop is very short, but I ended up having to cable tie it all together and hide it under a laptop stand. - On that same note, that non-standard cable is REALLY long, so if you AREN'T putting it on an arm, you're going to be annoyed. All in all, a good purchase and I'm looking forward to using this for many months to come.

Best Price/Quality I've Ever Used!
I've tried several mics before including ones attached to headphones and most have varying degrees of quality. I am either unimpressed with the quality despite what kind of deal I got on it, or I'm impressed with it but disappointed in the price point. But if you're looking for a mic with outstanding quality for how much it retails for then this is definitely a great contender. The mic itself has a fantastic sound quality to the point where when I was talking to a friend over Discord, they found it disconcerting because they thought I was standing right next to them. The stand is sturdy and high quality but only includes one fixed standing angle. The mute button is appreciated but people have told me that they can hear the actual button press being picked up over the recording. It is also fairly small which means I can keep it close to my face without it being obstructive to my view. I managed to snag it on sale for $18 and with a $15 gift card, $3 for a microphone with the quality of a $75 dollar mic is a great deal for anyone.

Great Mic - But the Stand Broke
This microphone has worked great for me. Unfortunately the weak link appears to me to be the stand. One of the three legs of the stand has broken off - the collar where the leg is inserted broke and continues to crumble. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a replacement stand avaible. Going to see if I can find some sort of generic stand that will work.

Sounds great, tripod breaks
This was a good purchase for the first year. Plug it in and it works. I use for running classes and meetings over videoconference systems and recording spoken presentations, so cannot speak to its quality for music, gaming, etc. This would have been a 5-star review except for one thing. One of the legs broke off the tripod and could not be replaced/repaired. So although the mic still works, it has to be propped up against other things and looks dumb.

Great All-purpose Microphone
I purchased this microphone because I wanted a replacement microphone to my old Turtlebeach microphone headset, and wanted to have a microphone that sat on the desk over one that is worn as a headset. I originally was looking to buy a Blueyetti microphone which all my friends (gamers) recommend for voice-chat, but did not want to spend $100+ dollars at the time. I have found the sound quality and sensitivity of the microphone to be amazing! At the time I purchased this, it was just under ~$30 and I was expecting poor sound quality, but it has been a huge improvement over my old Turtlebeach headset. My friends have also mentioned that I sound clearer and crisper when I speak. The microphone is adjustable within 180 degrees of upward rotation (see pictures). A nice and unexpected feature of it, is that it only uses a USB port from your computer whereas other microphones would require a USB port for power along with a "microphone in" port. It also features a mute button that changes from blue to red for un-muted and muted settings respectively. I gave this product 5 stars because it was relatively cheap and provided higher quality sound than I had expected for its price. It is also very sensitive to my voice (I tend to speak low) so I do not need to raise my voice too loud if others are sleeping to be heard. Overall, it exceeded my expectations!

Good quality sound
I really like the great sound quality. I also like that the usb cable is removable. Sometimes, after first initiating Microsoft Teams at the beginning of the day it doesn't give it full volume, and other times it does, so people have once in a while said that my mic volume is too quiet. I have checked with the set up in Teams to make sure I have the correct device for the mic and it is correct I have went into Windows settings, and the volume slider will not allow adjustment, like it is on automatic level, but cannot be taken off of such. So I simply unplug the mic for an instant while on Teams, then plug it back in and then my sound becomes loud and fine for the rest of the day, and the volume slider in the Windows Sound settings will allow adjustment. Now when initiating Teams in the morning, I always try to remember to unplug and plug back in the mic while Teams is running before I start using the mic. After you unplug it and plug in back in it's good to make sure Teams has the correct mic selected. I think it is a Teams issue, not the mic because I never have had this issue at all whenever I use it with Zoom. I don't think it is a driver problem, but a Teams problem. Teams lacks a lot of configuration options anyway, unlike Zoom. So I give the mic 5 stars for always working perfectly with Zoom, and working perfectly with Teams once you are aware of what seems to be a Microsoft Teams issue. Maybe an update will correct it someday.

Solid quality
I've received only positive feedback on the sound quality, but that is compared to a headset mic so the competition wasn't steep. For the price its very solid, and it's lasted me a long time.
