LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!
Saw a YTuber use Mousse Def and I decided to give it a try. After going to The Doux's YT channel to see how to apply it correctly, it was my turn to try a Wash n Go. This was fantastic for my hair!! Not only was I able to do the quickest WnG in history on my hair, it dried quickly and defined my curls like never before. If I don't blow dry my hair using a diffuser, it takes almost a day (if not longer) for my hair to air dry. My hair type is a combination of 3C, 4A, and 4B. With Mousse Def, my hair air dried in two hours! Two!!! The definition? Fabulous! It had been years since my curls popped like this without using heavier products. They were noticed and complimented immediately! On Day 2, I started experiencing the volume other users mentioned and I was loving it. Day 3, even bigger hair and better shaped. Day 4, I started getting frizz near the scalp (I sleep on satin a pillowcase), so I misted that hair for a little moisture and applied a little of the Mousse Def; back to perfection. Oh and I didn't 'have' to dampen it. Mousse Def can be applied to dry hair. It was my choice. Day 5, I put my hair in a loose top knot, lightly misted my hair with water, then applied a little Mousse Def all the way around the perimeter. Fresh curls reactivated! Day 6, repositioned and re-secured the top knot. Good to go! Day 7, wash day, though I could have gone another 2 days if I'd let my hair down again. But it was time for a deep conditioning. For me, The Doux Mousse Def is a game changer!! I stopped wearing Wash n Go's years ago because of all of the work involved, because you DON'T literally wash and go. But with this product, start to finish for me is 15-20 minutes application and 1-2 hour(s) drying time. Manual curl separation after the hair is completely dry, 3-5 minutes. If you don't over apply, this leaves your curls soft, defined, moisturized, shiny, movable, and light. If you do, they'll still be beautiful curls, just a little crunchy. And, if you want extra shine, The Doux offers a light, misting oil. Fantastic product!! I'll definitely purchase again. The Doux has a new repeat customer!!

Perfect Product
Love this product. It has been my go-to mouse since first discovering it. Their whole line is amazing. The only stuff that really works for my hair. Moisturizing, adds nice hold, defines my curls, and makes my hair shine. Perfect product!

Amazing products for my coarse, 3b, low-porosity hair
I was actually stationed in Germany when the founder, Maya Smith, had her salon in Kaiserslautern. I used to see her often for hair cuts, blow outs and treatments. I loved her limited product line back then as well. She's a master stylist and curl expert and my hair was in amazing condition back then because I was seeing her every month. This is the first time I've used this product, and OMG it's amazing. I do use quite a lot of the product as I have quite dry and coarse hair, but it's absolutely everything and it's such a relief to only have to use one product for moister, styling, and setting! I have mohawk haircut, and I style my hair with a lot of volume, and this product is fantastic for that. I work this foam through large sections of my CLEAN hair, and use a diffuser to set my curls with this product, and they're soft, yet held in place. First time I've ever used a product and experienced limited frizz. I can't rave about this foam enough, and I am so happy I found it! I have found that this product works best by its self. When I did add some light leave in moisturizer, the product didn't work nearly as well and my hair came out frizzy and undefined. I was my hair once a week with her 'No Scrubs' exfoliating shampoo, then use the 'Sweetest Thing' honesy moisture mask with a heated cap for 15 minutes, rinse it out with cold water and then directly style my hair with Mousse Def, and it comes out amazing every single time. I won't style my hair without this product!

Good product, even for fine hair
For someone with fine curly hair, this didnโt weigh it down and gave me the depth and curls I needed. Be sure to not use too much and comb through your entire hair so it doesnโt get sticky :)

Great for fine hair
I love this stuff. My hair is dry and mostly wavy and pretty fine. It gives my waves/curls more hold and texture and is especially good for when my hair is up. It's not super drying like most texturizing products I've used

Great for soft curls and hold
I love this product! Helps keep my mix of wavy and curls hair staying soft and holds the curl all day. If I pineapple my hair at night I can have nice 2nd and 3rd day curls as well. Does not have an overpowering smell, just fresh and clean. I have been using this for a couple years now and will continue using. Great product!

Came here from Mo Knows Hair to say...
Whelp, I'm a true believer! I haven't used foam on my curls in over 20 years thinking my hair needed only creme stylers. Let. Me. Tell. You. SOMETHING! I noticed around 2020 a visible patch of hair was growing in... extra fuzzy for lack of a better phrase. I did not use heat at all for decades! I don't do a lot of styling (mechanical damage) and I take a multivitamin. I wrap my hair at night in a satin pineapple and sleep on satin pillow covers. Lastly, this patch is on one side of my head! I can NOT figure out what happened! It seems to have stopped growing in like that and the "damage" is now further down my hair strands. So, I'm glad it appears to be growing out, but now that I've trimmed the healthy parts below it, that patch is at the end and fuzzy and I'm just waiting for it to completely grow out. I accepted this was my path and just tried to put a little extra product on that part for more hold. I tried this Mousse for the first time this morning and my CURLS ARE POPPIN ALL AROUND MY HEAD! At first, I was impressed at the dry time, though I was worried at the Ramen noodle appearance. I put a small amount of hair/scalp oil on my palms and scrunched out the cast and I am ABSOLUTELY in love with the results!! I came here after watching Mo Knows Hair on Youtube all weekend to look for unrelated styling tips to spruce up my life and came across her using this and only this product. I though surely I'm gonna need something else and NOPE! I'm very happy! I still love my other products, but this was truly a one and done for MY curl pattern/lifestyle/ application technique/etc. Gotta just find what works best for you and I considered myself a curl veteran in this game. Decades later, I still learned something new!! Only thing I did different between this wash and my usual (beside this product) is I did a scalp cleansing this weekend. I truly believe product buildup is the devil, lol. Now I wish I had a before curl pic... Super slip, no flakes, crunch disappears, hold, loose curl, defined, shiny... I could go on, lol!

Curls Curls Curls!
Great Mousse for hair! it works as they say or at least it did for me. I have 4c very course hair and I had tried many products that claim to curl hair. This actually does. i wet my hair and added the mousse and my hair curled right up. I would encourage you to wet hair in a small portion first to see how you can use the product, only because you want to test to see how much mousse you need before completely saturating your hair and using mousse all over and wasting your new product. Take a section at a time. I think it works best. It is light weight, soft and makes hair bouncy. The value is ok. I like this scent versus the Honey scent. I'm sorry the Honey scent one smells funny to me. I didn't like it. FYI, Look up the hydration method on youtube, it does help the mousse work even better, especially if you want your curls to look lucious!. Hope this helps....happy curl making.
