Great way to make a bypass for a water heater!
These are just perfect for making a "bypass" for a water heater. Using one of these with two shutoff valves allows me to drain the water heater out and use this drain valve to pump antifreeze into water systems for winter shutdown on camps without having to fill the water heater. Makes things much easier for winterizing.
