Accurate. Reliable. Easy to use.
Easy to use. I appreciate the combo test. I suspected I had COVID after attending a large networking event. I could not find test kit locally. Binax is always quick, reliable, accurate. Q

DO NOT buy- expiration date is too close, not even enough for 1 full Covid/flu season!
Don't get me wrong: I appreciate both the Binax Now test (my favorite) and Amazon. But what didn't work is that I received my test on January 5 2026 and it expires on August 10 2026 ie. only 7 months after reception!! As I ordered it mid-season (for flu/Covid19) it means that it won't even last me a full season! I first checked the FDA site to see if the expiration date is prolonged: NO. It says that newer tests have a shelf life of 22 months after production and that they no longer have prolonged expiration dates. I tried to return the kit but Amazon's policy doesn't allow it instead they provided me with Abbott's customer support phone number which I called and to my surprise they answered immediately and provided all the answers within 5': They confirmed the expiration date ("2026-08-10"), that it can't be prolonged, that they can't compensate me (as expected) but that they created a ticket where they included my recommendation= for health products (non-returnable!) Amazon might use an algorithm (we live in the era of AI, right? Algorithms have been around for decades...) to automatically verify that self-test kits (non-returnable!) expire at least 12 months (1 full season) after order date. In my humble opinion that might be an easy solution; the other explanation is that you get what you pay for: better price but much shorter shelf life. In conclusion: The Binax Now test is a great product but as long as Amazon cannot guarantee a reasonable expiration date I wouldn't buy this off Amazon again (unless desperate).

Highly Recommend. Fast & Accurate
I am extremely impressed with how easy it was to use. The instructions were clear, results came back in around 15 minutes, and I really appreciate that it tests for both COVID and Flu at the same time. no need to guess what symptoms might be. The kit feels reliable and well-made, and having 4 tests included is a huge bonus for families or repeat testing. Definitely gives peace of mind during cold/flu season. Great product and worth it! 👍

Not accurate
I didn’t find this to be accurate- I tested negative and ended up going to urgent care thinking it was something else and I tested positive for flu. I used the other test when I got home just to see if my first test was faulty but that one came back negative as well so I dont think these are reliable. Easy to use just not accurate. Wouldn’t buy again.

Buy the orange brand instead. These do not work.
I should have read the reviews. As others have pointed out, the diffusion of the solution through the cassette is not good at all. Out of 8 total tests I got, 6 didn’t flow correctly, rendering the tests completely useless. Quality and accuracy is straight in the trash. I’ve done many at-home tests from many different brands, and this is the first time that a test fails, let alone fails at this rate.

Liquid does not reliably reach control line
I am a retired physician with lots of experience using these tests. I have used two of the four tests in the box I got. The first test did not look like the liquid would reach the control area by 10 minutes, but did. Control was positive. Today's test never made it to the end, so the control was not wet and the test was useless. I called Abbott using the number on the instructions and explained my experience. They asked numerous but necessary questions to make sure I did everything right. I asked if they had had other complaints like this. The rep said no. Yet, I see that several users here have complained of the same problem. I strongly recommend that anyone with an issue with this test or any other, call the company and tell them. This does everyone a favor and lets the company know there is a problem. The number is on the instructions sheet. Have it and the box handy when you call. They will be asking for various numbers on the box and instruction sheet. They will likely send you a fresh replacement, as they told me they would.
