These are small (1X 1/2 inches) but make them easy to place in a wide range of areas. I have them placed in each area of my plant room where each different type of plants is grouped together and also in other rooms as well. I sit them in front of the plants but they are lightweight enough that they could easily be attached to the side of plant pots if you wanted To with a small piece of tape. I have checked each of the 6 that came in this package next to a larger more expensive hydrometer and these were extremely close both in temperature and humidity. I would definitely recommend these as a first choice for beginner Plant growers and experienced growers as well. I’ll be purchasing more for the rest of my plants in other areas of the home and consider them a very good purchase price. Happy growing!

These work great, all accurate to each other. Durable, hold up to high humidity and easy to read. Small enough for a multitude of applications. Have been using non stop for months to monitor humidity near my indoor plants.

Based on other reviews and seeing some wildly different readouts I ordered 2 packs planning to just use the "most accurate" from the middle of the range...to my surprise these are all extremely consistent. They also match my Sonoff unit exactly. When you first get them they do need to 'settle in' for a bit - especially now when it is cold out and they get condensation inside and all that from temp change. Once I let them sit over night they all matched right up. Only ding I will give is that one unit is stuck in C instead of F. Looking into it apparently it is a contact that needs to be removed to make this happen (internal mod) but since this one already is C the contact must have come loose prior to my receipt or something. Very happy with the purchase.

Good little hygrometers. I got them so I could stick them in a handful of instrument cases to monitor in-case humidity levels during the winter (along with a stretto hyrdration pack). I assumed since they were so small and cheap I was going to have to calibrate them, but right out of the box they were all within 1% of my master room hygrometer which is accurate enough for my purposes. The prices is right and they're small which is ideal for my uses. The only issue I have is that they can be hard to stick in the case. This is probably an issue specific to me, but I wanted to put a dual lock strip on the back of it (or something similar) to mount inside my case. Unfortunately, the majority of the back of these units is taken up by the sliding panel for the battery. This leaves a VERY small area that you could mount some adhesive which means there's a better chance it could end up unsticking at some point. I made it work for my mostly stationary cases, however if I needed to carry the cases around more, I'd need to find a better way to mount them so they wouldn't pop loose and bang around in the case. The other issue is that there's no backlight on these hygrometers. That should be expected for devices at this price point, but in my case, it means that I often have to use the flashlight on my phone to read them because when they're mounted in my case, they're often in a recess that casts a shadow and it can make it difficult to read. It might be nice to be able to just press a button and get a momentary backlight to see the readout better, however that would also be a more expensive device. You can't expect all the bells and whistles when you buy cheap. All in all, if you need some cheap small hyrgrometers, I think these are serviceable.

They come with the batteries already activated. All of them would have the same readings when I put them in the same area so I believe they are accurate. I place them in mason jars closed right with herbs I want to keep the humidity at around 62% so I use 62% relative humidity packets with them and these let me know they are working and when the packets need to be replaced. They are a nice small size yet easy to read the display. I ended up buying more for more flavors of herbs. They work great right from the start, nothing you need to do.

Small and easy to work with. Can read the humidity level just fine but little hard to read the temp if you don't have it in a open spot but otherwise works better then the ones I bought at the reptile store. Does not stick but has room if you need to hang them up. Wish you could which the temp and humidity so you could see it better. Would buy again

Very long battery life, relatively large display screen, pretty bright and do what they need to do, it functions well. However, they can get stuck at a temperature and humidity if it stays there for a while.
