Quality isn’t great. I love Melissa and Doug toys but these are below their usual standard. There’s paint chipped off a lot of the blocks and some are badly dented before they’ve even been played with. They’re also way smaller than I expected.

A handful of the blocks inside the box were dirty/mouldy! I think the wood was starting to rot. Some blocks were poorly finished too, very easy to splinter little hands so I returned them.

The blocks had a bit of chemical sour smell at the start. But we washed it and let it air and it got better. Paint quality is ok and my kid likes to play with it from time to time.

Our family LOVES Ms. Rachel, so when we saw these Melissa & Doug wooden learning blocks, we just had to get them—and they did not disappoint!
