Manucurist Active Smooth 00 Nail Concealer Polish & Care - Rosé

Goes on easy. Gives barely there color and doesn’t chip! Nails are smooth and looks great.

I have weak brittle thin nails, with vertical and horizontal ridges. I have always had dry cuticles, so bad that the skin lifts and gets itchy. My nails were so bad this past winter, they were breaking in every direction and pealing like an onion. They were so short and still, I was constantly filing the breaks. They looked awful! I tried everything. Finally made my own lotion/balm and have been using it now 6 months. My nails and cuticles were finally starting to look better, but I still needed something to keep my nails from splitting at the ridges. I do not usually wear polish as it does not stay on. And my nails usually feel worse when I remove it, even using a non-acetone remover. I usually gave my nails a light buffing but that was no help. I was really tired of my nails constantly breaking. Then I started seeing online ads for Manucurist products and I did my research. I have now been using the Active Smooth in the 00 color for 1 month and I am really pleased. The first week, I put on one coat. It dried quickly, like a minute or two. No base coat. It just gave my nails a bit of shine. The next day, I decided to put on a second coat. It gave my nails a little more color, but very subtle. After a week, I added a third coat. My nails looked great for 2 whole weeks! I used a soy base polish remover then gave my hands a good wash with an oil-based hand soap. Lathered them up with my homemade balm and went to sleep. Next day, I applied 1 coat; second coat the following day. This time, it only lasted a week. To be fair, I was digging in the garden without gloves, and it chipped a little piece off one nail. So, I removed the polish, again, giving the nails a night to breathe. Next night, second coat. Now you can see the results. It has been 1 month. The picture I am including is the polish on for a whole week. These old nails look better than then have in years! Wish I took a before picture so you could compare yourself. I just like my nails to look neat and healthy. I cannot say that the polish was 100% of the improvement, but it seems to be the final piece of the puzzle. The real test will be when winter comes as the inside heat seems to suck the moisture right out of my nails. Will try to remember to update this in a few months.

I love manicurist products I have quite a few polishes and other things from this brand. If you love a non toxic sheer neutral color this is for you! It’s so easy to put on even if you’re bad at painting nails. I can tell it makes my nails healthier too! It does only last about a week for me (I wash my hands a lot) but it’s not bad I just re do it every weekend. It lasts much longer on my toes. I like to layer this with their other pink sheer nail products too!

The first time I used it, my nails hardened and lengthened and actually looked great. I liked it so much that I advised several of my friends to start using it and they did. But with time something changed. The polish hardened in the bottle and did not go on as smooth. When I used several layers, they started peeling after a few days. If I only used one layer, my nails started breaking easier. And after a few months, I noticed my nails were cracking and peeling in layers especially at the end of the nail. I stopped using it and they hardened and stopped cracking and breaking. I started using it again and the same thing happened. Again, I thought it was my nails until two of my friends I had recommended to who I had recommended to start using it said they had to stop because they noticed their nails were breaking, cracking and peeling especially at the ends. I didn’t tell them I was experiencing the same thing because was embarrassed since I had recommended it to them. When they stopped using theirs, they wanted to give theirs to me but I politely declined since I had also had to stop using mine. My nails are starting to harden and lengthen on their own so am giving them a rest and will then have to decide what to do. I am so disappointed because I reviewed all the nail polishes and thought I had found the best. I hadn’t even minded the high price if it had worked. But I am now back to trying to find another polish low in toxic chemicals but also works.

I have been using this on and off for a couple of months or so. Fills ridges and no chipping. Lasts for around 2 weeks with two coats. I love the natural look. Pleasantly surprised in the quality and ease of use.

I purchased this at the end of December because my nails needed a serious overhaul after an unfortunate trip to the nail salon that left them covered in ridges and discoloration. It has definitely helped my nails grow back healthier, and I love the appearance of the polish. It looks very put together and clean girl aesthetic. My only complaint is that the bottle has gone goopy after six months. I’m not sure if that is the normal timeframe for an open bottle of nail polish, but it has gotten too sticky and I will need to order more if I want to continue using it.

so far so good! my nails were destroyed and this kept them safe till they grew out. tip, do two thin coats, with lots of time to dry in-between, like hours. a thick coat pools, and too close together doesn't dry enough and easily smudges. but two thin coats holds up well. beautiful neutral nude color (Rose)

I had high hopes for this, especially at the price point. I wanted to transition from years of gel nails to going natural and hoped this would help me love my real nails. The damage was mostly at the tips as I have been growing them out for quite some time and they’re thin so figured this would strengthen and smooth them. It’s definitely more pink than beige and very transparent so if you have an ugly nail line it’s all visible. I got maybe 24 hours out of it before it chipped. I gave it a months worth of constant trying and having to repaint nails. It actually made my nails feel flimsier somehow, I tried another brand polish that made them feel harder the following day. Maybe it’s the aha? No clue… I like that it’s “natural” but it’s honestly all hype. The cheaper brand smoothed and covered and hardened my nails much better, while claiming to be natural too, and I’m just kinda disappointed I wasted $20 on 1 bottle of nail polish that dried up halfway through its use. I thought about trying their gel polish but the price point turned me off after reading about it chipping off after a day, I’d be pissed if I invested that much in a system, which is why I tried the regular polish to start, plus I brought it on vacation to fix and touch up and it’s not convenient to tough up with gel and pack all that stuff when the goal is to have a polish that can last more than a weekend.

Hab diesen Nagellack zu Weihnachten verschenkt und er kam richtig gut an. Meine Schwiegermutter ist begeistert. Trocknet schnell, hält lange und hat eine schöne und dezente Farbe. Besonders wichtig, die Nägel fühlen sich danach auch weiterhin gesund und stabil an. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Amazing product and quality, tone is so nice nude/pink shade

I think this is a great nail polish. I bought it as I’m growing out my gel nails and wanted something that would strengthen and hide the gel remaining as they grow through. It applied well and isn’t too thick. Good colour match which is subtle. I’ve used a quick dry top coat but pleased with initial results. Unsure of wear length yet, but the top coat added will give it 5-6 days before it goes dull. This is the original pink shade. Would recommend
