The locking button had become torn and worn on my Toyota supplied Aygo key and a replacement is an arm and a leg job so this seemed a cheap alternative at a price low enough to take a risk.Opening the case is a matter of one screw - don't lose it as you need it for the new case. Use a screwdriver to prise open the cover and the electronics are just seated on pins so are easy to lift out and put in the new case. Pull out the key stem and push it in the new case - it takes a bit of effort - and you are almost there. There is also a small, charcoal grey battery in the top left hand corner of the old case, it blends in so it is easy to miss, but that needs to be transferred as well for the key to work electronically.I tried to use the old back with the Toyota badge but that did not quite fit so used the back which came with the replacement which took a bit of fiddling to fit and seal properly - hence four stars - but I managed it eventually. That was the only problem I had and as that only took a couple of minutes to sort it was hardly an issue.There are no complicated instructions, no need for DIY or electronic skills, just common sense needed to move three items from the old case and pop them in the new.The key works fine, looks and feels the same - apart from the badge - and for a few pounds and five minutes effort repairs a worn or damaged key case and saves a small fortune on a manufacturer's replacement.

Item arrived ontime and well packed,Just remember to remove a little block thats inside your original key (in the corner) into the new case otherwise your car wont start.

Great product. Easy and cheap replacement for Peugeot 206 key. Just slot in your old parts from the old key and away you go. 5 minute job and as good as new.
