pucker up
They are sour and crunchy and can be addicting. They taste just how I like my sour candy. Wanted to try them before the new laws go into effect about food dyes. This item contains many dyes, a few are Yellow 6, Red 40, Yellow 5, Blue 1. Those I just listed are all in the list of concern due to potential health risks, particularly in children. I can limit myself, but doubt a child could do the same. Dyes do not effect flavor and are only there for visual aesthetics. Yes they are tasty, but at what cost?

Yummy in my tummy!
I LOVE these!!! So sour and so good. Don't be a eat too many at one time but, they are delicious. Package arrived unopened and the product was fresh. Definitely something I'd purchase again! My kids love these too!

Delicious!
These are delicious! Too bad they are out of stock EVERYWHERE. They need to ramp up productions and give the people the most delightful candy for summer!

I like these better than actual Skittles, but the price hurts.
I am a Skittles enjoyer. However I am not a Skittles stuck in my teeth enjoyer. These days I also find Skittles to be a bit too hard and chewy for my taste. These looked like a fun new way to eat them that could remedy both my gripes. I have to say, they absolutely do, and I love them for it.These are basically a fluffy, crunchy version of a Skittle. Freeze drying them puffs them up bigger compared to a regular skittle. About 50% larger, or almost doubled size. All the chewiness of a normal skittle is gone. You are basically left with a little sugar bomb that melts away fairly easily in your mouth. Freeze drying them doesn't hurt the flavor at all though. It is still all there. The quality of the ones I received seemed to be high, and they were fairly fresh. I am not certain, but I feel like these will probably stay fresher longer than a regular skittle as long as they are kept dry. Left exposed to a moist environment though, all bets are off.The problem I have with these is the price. The are very expensive compared to normal Skittles. The cost of these per ounce, right now, on Amazon, is about 4x the price of the normal Skittles. That's a steep increase. I understand freeze drying things is a time, cost, and energy intensive process. That up charge though easily keeps these strictly to being a very rare treat type of purchase, rather than and every so often because I am in the mood purchase. Which is a shame, because I really do legitimately enjoy these more than normal Skittles. Perhaps over time the cost will come down to the "sweet spot" for me, but I foresee these getting discontinued before that happens.

Skittles (original brand) freeze dried Candies are Good but are other products better!
Ironically the Skittles version are good, but not as good as some other off brands.I was shocked, as I would’ve thought that the Skittles branded product would be better.Again, I expected better flavor, the crunch consistency was fair, but others I found to be better. In general the freeze dried products are WAY overpriced. But I must admit they are really addicting once you find the most consistent product for you.
