## Description

The Modus II Cigar Tool is a unique accessory designed to enhance the cigar smoker's experience. It combines three handy tools into one very elegant format, a draw tool for improving airflow in cigars that are plugged or rolled too tightly, and a "nubber" for holding a very short remaining portion of a cigar (the "nub") to more safely continue smoking the cigar down to its very end, and a 9mm Cigar Punch. V2.1 features several improvements over previous versions including satin anodized finish, stainless steel ferrule, and laser welded skewers. CNC'd Alloy covers unscrew to reveal the stainless steel draw tool skewer (bottom) and twin stainless steel nubber needles (top), while the bottom unscrews to reveal the Cigar Punch. The draw tool skewer has a "harpoon" style tip to facilitate removing small amounts of tobacco when creating an air channel. Multiple passes with the draw tool may be necessary to resolve draw issues in extremely tightly rolled, or plugged, cigars, and may be inserted from the Head or foot of the cigar. For smaller ring gauge (RG) cigars, it is advisable to begin by using the harpoon tip to create a shallow "pilot hole", then insert progressively deeper on each subsequent pass, withdrawing to remove tobacco each time. This will help to avoid splitting the cigar’s wrapper, which can happen when too much internal pressure is applied at once. Nubber needles have a matte finish near the tips to help provide a more secure hold on the cigar. Both tools have extremely sharp points. At 6-7/8” x 44 RG (or about ¾” diameter) when closed, the Modus Cigar Tool fits nicely in most cigar cases and travel humidors for carrying along… or just drop in your pocket with the alloy covers in place. High quality materials, fit, and finish, as well as a handsome gift box make the Modus II the perfect elegant accessory for discerning cigar smokers. Review: Perfect. - If you're a cigar smoker this is a must have tool. Great design and function. Construction is perfect, material is sturdy and feels very solid in your hand. The punch is sharp and we'll thought out. There is a hole in the back side just large enough to use the draw tool to push out the packed in cap pieces. The draw tool itself is plenty sharp and also well thought out. It makes a nice kerf that when pulling the tool out, grabs and carries just the right amount to free up the draw on tight smokes. The nubber is also perfect and just the right size to pierce through any size ring gauge cigar out there. Package was nice as well. Perfect gift for yourself or another cigar lover....you must buy this.
Review: Works well but pricey! - The hole poker works great, at times better than the other pokers I have used in the past. I have not used nor had a need for the nub holder side of this item. It’s a nice heavy piece of hardware but pricey for what it does. If you want a nice piece of hardware for your smoking enjoyment, this is the tool you want!

**Q: I bought two of these last year and one is broken already. Can it be fixed?**
A: Modus II Cigar Tools carry a lifetime warranty.  You'll need to send it in for inspection.  We will then repair or replace as necessary.

**Q: What is a nubber**
A: A nubber is a device that allows you to hold the cigar as it burns down to the end or "nub" without burning your fingers.  For true cigar aficionados that like to smoke the most of their cigars, this is for them.  I recommend this one.  Three tools in one.

**Q: Is the punch very sharp?**
A: Mine was not sharp enough.

If you're a cigar smoker this is a must have tool. Great design and function. Construction is perfect, material is sturdy and feels very solid in your hand. The punch is sharp and we'll thought out. The cigar holder half adds 20 minutes to your cigar and saves you from burning your fingers. I love it. The reamer half is not the best, the reamers that are designed like a drill bit are far superior when it comes to making a tightly rolled cigar draw better.
