There is a lot to like about this product. I love that it's plant based and cruelty free and the outside package is comprehensive and gives you lots of info (how to use, where it's made, what it smells like, etc). It has a herbal scent that anyone who has used rosemary hair products will recognize as well as lavender. You can use the product as pre-wash scalp oil or as a daily hair oil for your mids to ends. While I like this oil, I am not a fan of the packaging. It's a very small glass vial (probably smaller than you are imagining, not essential oil size but I do like that the bottle is glass) and it has a plastic insert like you would see on essential oils. I find it hard to distribute the product on my scalp and felt like I was wasting the product as it was on my hands and the bottle more than my roots. If you are using it on your scalp, you are supposed to leave it on for 10 mins (wish they gave a "leave it on no longer than X" recommendation) so rubbing the excess in my ends still seems like a waste since I was about to wash. I have fine hair but I have a decent amount so maybe different hair types will be able to use this bottle but I would much prefer a twist top or eye dropper situation. I am usually a big fan of this brand and have had success with past products but this one is hard to get behind because of the packaging choice. That being said I can see this being a good size for travel and I like the product itself.

Especially in the winter months, static electricity has a huge impact on my hair. Hair oil is often my best friend at this time. I am a big fan of Kitsch’s other products, so I ordered their Scalp & Hair Oil to try.The bottle is very small and does not screw onto their oil applicator, which was disappointing. I was able to pour some in the applicator and use it as a pre-wash treatment; I also poured a few drops into my hand when my hair was dry and applied it lightly to the ends of my hair to help protect against the frizzles.I liked the scent of this oil and felt that it was light in my hair without making it look greasy. I didn’t notice a huge difference with the pre-wash treatment, but I also have long and wavy hair. Others may find that it works better for them. I did not experience any irritation or discomfort when using this hair oil.For the cost of $8.99 (at time of review), I felt that it was a fair value for someone who uses hair oil frequently. I have a product I like better that is a better value (cost per ounce), so I would probably not order this product again.

I am absolutely in love with this oil! From the first application, I could feel the difference. The oil is so nourishing and has completely transformed my dry scalp. I've been using it as both a pre-wash treatment and a daily hydrator, and it's made my hair incredibly soft and smooth. It's a fantastic, plant-based solution that truly delivers on its promises!
