Review: Perfect - Excellent Review: Product is fine, but my experience with what I perceive as momentary price gouging was bad - This review is more an indictment on the electronic price gouging system that trumps the product performance. I don't know if it is 3M gouging in real time or if it is desertcart penalizing me for placing an item in my shopping cart and not buying "right away." I sell 3M products, and on a rare occasion I buy from desertcart as a backstop. I know that 3M has not raised their prices to me directly--in MONTHS! And yet keeping a product in my shopping cart for a mere 72 hours was enough for desertcart's price to rise by >$3. The 3M 8550 product performs beautifully. It is very effective, and I recommend other here buy it and use it. But as for the pricing changes on the fly and for no apparent reason, I'm referring my notes to the Federal Trade Commission, Bureau of Consumer Protection to investigate unwarranted dynamic price changes for no good reason except to pressure, intimidate consumer to buy and creating unnecessary fear if they do not make a purchase decision, "on the spot" lest the price keep on creeping upward. 3M product which includes the desertcart buying and pricing gouging experience gets 1 star. The product deserves 5 stars, but 3M chose to sell through the desertcart distribution channel so this low review comes with it. Maybe 3M can be part of the movement to discourage unwarranted price gouging. But if 3M is complicit then it reinforces my 1-star low review. The cost at $35-$38 includes depending on how many you purchase. The cost is for 10 pads (3.85 each). We made an order x 4 for $141.00. We obtained 7 baggies with 1 pad in each baggy.
