Gaming Headset

i have had this headset now since the begining of january 2021. I AM TELLING YOU NOW, BUY THIS HEADSET. i always get compliments from people online about how good it sounds, the microphone works amazing, has unbelievably amazing quality for the price. i was so surprised when i got it. it works perfectly on my pc and my xbox one controller. the only problems i have had with it is that after a couple hours of wearing it, my ears will feel sore and hurt a bit, as expected from a $20 headset. another thing is that after a while from use (i mean months) the aux plugin will make a short crackle noise if messed with. i think that's expected of any old cord though! one thing i didn't realize until a few months of use is that you can move the mic on it to be closer or farther from your mouth! all in all, this is an unbelievably amazing headset and if you're looking for something good on a budget, this is completely for you.

Tl;dr: These are decent headphones! However, they function better for casual use than for actual gaming-- or as a temporary replacement. I don't think these will last long, they are pretty cheap, but for what they're worth I'm happy with them. I got these headphones when they were on sale for 53% off, so around $19 in total including tax. I needed a quick replacement in college so I wasn't using my Samsung earbuds that came with my phone on my laptop anymore. So far they have made a very good first impression. The quality of the microphone was surprising from what I was expecting. After some quick tests, my voice came through clear through Discord, and the mute switch works. The biggest surprise though was the audio quality of the headset-- it compares well to my old earbuds. They produce a decent sound, but they are a little dull/fuzzy at times. They are on the bass-heavy side, so I did have to go into my audio mixer to adjust the sound, but honestly, I think that's just up to personal preference. I wouldn't say they are genuinely noise-canceling either, but the insulation does a good job at keeping most unwanted noise out. With all that being said though, I wouldn't say they are the best gaming headphones. I have a small head and this headset is rather stiff. They are a tight fit and press against my jaw joint and the top of my head-- this pressure over a long period of time gets uncomfortable. With this in mind, if they are snug on me, I think if my head was any bigger, it wouldn't be comfortable. They are definitely made out of cheaper plastic and don't seem like they are built to last for a long time. Straight out of the package, the connection between the headset and the cord is loose. I don't expect these to last me more than a few years. All-in-all though, for $19, they weren't a bad purchase. Definitely wouldn't recommend this for anyone looking for a quality gaming headset, but this is a great option for young children or just someone looking for a headset for general/casual use.

perfect headphones and love the color

I have two daughters (5 and 7), and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve had to buy headsets for them. I always went for low-cost options, and the complaints were the same: they’re uncomfortable, the audio quality is poor, if they’re wired, the quality is really bad, or if they’re Bluetooth, the battery doesn’t last long. After reading several reviews, I decided to give these one a try, and once I opened the box, I realized that, even though they’re not expensive, they’re very well-built with quality materials. It’s been 3 months, and they’re still working optimally, with no complaints. Even the microphone for online gaming or video calls works great. I recommend them for both kids and adults.

Also it seems like the mic just fully does not work. Guess my toddler can play with them- UPDATE*** my toddler found a dongle thing hidden in the box, and, after working out that it needed to be plugged in between the headphones and computer, the Mic works, and speakers sound amazing, and everything is perfect!!! Sorry seller, I had a stupid!

I purchased these in Sep 2019, and these gave out on me July 2020 so didn't exactly last a whole year. Just last month the left ear went out and i haven't been able to get it up and running anymore. I actually didn't use these very often, I brought them to use in office when I have conference calls so I wouldnt have to use my phone to call-in. Then once we started working remote due to the pandemic, i was using them every day. They worked pretty well although I felt like my microphone would sometimes go out but to be honest I'm not 100% sure if it was my headphones or my computer or my remote connection. Sound quality was good, although I wouldn't suggest wearing these headphones for long periods of time because the ear muffs would sometimes cause an unnecessary tension on your head that can feel really uncomfortable. Also, even after an hour of wearing these my ears would be sweaty and waxy which was happening a lot more often in quarantine. I might buy another pair for the compliments but definitely hoping it goes down in price. I bought these originally because I saw Doja Cat wearing them and I just thought the headphones looked really cute. As far as aesthetics go, its super cute. Every video conference call I was on, I would always get compliments. Also, if i'm having a bad hair day, these were big enough to disguise my "up in a bun" look pretty well. The price has since gone up since I bought it, but I would suggest these headphones if you're more looking for basic headphones with a decent mic but a cute pink aesthetic. You wont find any other headphones with a mic that are entirely pink (headband, mic, and cord) like this one.

Works very good with my Nintendo
