I bought this robot for my 5 year old grandson. We were all amazed at the things it does for the price. It's well designed, sturdy and a fun toy that doesn't get boring after 5 minutes of play. A few things I wasn't aware of about the toy are the science and good habits buttons on the remote (needs two AAA batteries) which have the robot tell the child facts about the solar system and good habits for life. When you turn the robot on he goes through a series of actions and if no one plays with him, after 30 seconds he says "Why is everyone ignoring me? This is lame." In 30 more seconds he says "system shutting down" or something on that order. I'd probably change the "lame" comment if I were programming the robot. I'm not sure if that's something that can be turned off in programming but it seems a little angsty and not something you really want to teach a 5 year old. The sensor that makes the robot go forward and backward with hand gestures works well and the robot responds pretty quickly. There is no plug for the USB charger for the robot, so if no one in the house has a USB power source, it might be a good idea to purchase one with the toy as well as 2 AAA batteries for the remote. It's a good deal and I would buy this again and probably will if the price doesn't keep on going up.

After months of use with two children and one being a 1-year-old baby playing with it I can assure you that the material with which it is made is very good. It has very good functions. My children love to play with him

I purchased this robot for my 5 year old grandson. After carefully looking at reviews I thought this one was the best. Turns out I was right. The house exploded with laughter and delight as soon as the robot was removed from his box (now his home). I was immediately called on FaceBook to take part in the excitement. I thought the new toy would end up in the pile of sadly forgotten playmates but my daughter informs me that, days later, my grandson is up an hour earlier and my daughter is woken by laughter and robot noises. It is hysterical. They are most impressed with the hand wave controls that can turn, stop or make other actions. Since there have been battles over how much time each child gets with the robot (the eight year old is frequently reminded that the toy is not hers) if this continues I may be getting one for the little girl for Christmas!

This robot is a wonderful gift for a child. I gave it to my son, and he was thrilled! The only downside is that it broke when it fell once—the plastic in the knees cracked, and now it can’t stand on its own 😭

At fist they got exited but after a while they just put it to a side it got boring for them not to many different things it does needs to have more exitement to keep them wanting to play with it. Children these days are into technology
