These are well-written short lessons that will definitely address a one-room Sunday School class of VPK-6th grade. The lessons can be completed in as little as 30 minutes, or extended to 45-60 minutes -- tweak as necessary. There are tips that will be helpful to the teacher and activities that the children will enjoy. The activities are not complicated and serve to reinforce the lesson. I did not find these to be geared to any particular denomination, so, again, the lessons can be tweaked to serve your particular Christian education program.

We congregate in our home and really needed to find some type of program for the multiple ages of the children in our group. We don't have enough people to separate the children by their ages, nor the room for that, so I decided to give this book a try. I really like the simplicity of the lessons and how it can be used with children between the ages 4-12! I ended up ordering volume 1 and 2. I'm so happy with my purchase!

Plenty of lessons for springtime lessons along with fun activities

I teach my grandchildren each Sunday afternoon. The ages are 8, 9, 10 & 11. They enjoy the lessons & the activities. It is easy to adjust things to fit your class, and the projects are easy and fun for the kids. These books are designed for all ages of children such as you might find in a small church. This is the 3rd book I've used (winter volume). I'll be ordering the spring volume next. Oh, the children love reading the scriptures; I bought each of them a bible written for children that is true to the Holy Bible.. The bible is not required for the children, but you will want one so you can read the full scripture the lesson is based on. I just like having the children's bible to work with the lessons & so do the kids. The one we use: International Children's Bible: Big Red Economy Edition, can be found on Amazon (see link @ end). Just put in International Children's Bible and you will find several good bibles to choose from. The one I have is published by Tommy Nelson/Thomas Nelson Publishers, and for ages 7-11. Excellent resource for sunday school and childrens church. They give you activities and stories and lists of what you need to get together for each lesson. There are also crafts and handouts you can photocopy for the kids. I will be purchasing all in this series.

I have ages 1- 16 in my class. This book is perfect for my group, even though it suggested for 3-12, I have adapted it for my group. It is great it pairs younger kids with the older and emphasizes activities and lessons that all the kids seem to relate to and enjoy.

A great way to find flexible Sunday School lessons that are easy to teach and need little advanced prep.

Our Sunday school ordered Volume 2 and 3. We have a small Sunday school class with children of various ages. There are four teachers and we all loved this book. It was easy for the kids to relate to the lesson and they loved the activities. We did not order volume 1, as it had more to do with Christmas and we were past that. We plan on ordering the other two volumes later this Summer. We would highly recommend the series to anyone.

This book is great for an all-age group, though some of the activities need to be adapted if the group is a really small one. Overall, great craft, game and interactive ideas which are Biblically accurate.
